In layman's terms, forest biometrics is information about forests than comes from measuring and counting. People who do the measuring and analysis are called Forest Biometricians. The people who need the information are foresters, people and companies who own forest land, people who invest in forest land, and people who make decisions about forest land. Forest Biometrics helps these people make decisions based on data, instead of guesses.
