Ellie Carlson

Dr. Ellie grew up in the Kansas City area. She attended Kansas State University for both undergraduate and veterinary school. After graduating in 2020, Dr. Ellie worked at a mixed animal clinic for 2 years before joining the Grant team in February 2022. Her areas of interest include surgery, anesthesiology and wound management. In her free time, Dr. Ellie enjoys traveling and spending time her family and pets. Dr. Ellie has a Greater Swiss Mountain dog, Toblerone and a cat, Rory. She also likes spending time outdoors, drinking coffee and exploring areas of SW Missouri.

Kimberly Clem

Dr. Clem grew up near Willard, Missouri. She attended undergrad at Missouri State University, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. She attended the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine in Columbia, MO, where she graduated in 2019. Dr. Clem began working at Grant Pet Hospital in July of 2019 following graduation. Her areas of interest include preventative care, internal medicine and geriatric care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and her four German Shepherds, hiking, and trying new foods and restaurants.

Thomas Rouse

Dr. Rouse is a 1985 graduate of the University of Missouri. After a short stint in Carthage, Illinois, he spent the next 25 years in his own clinic, a mixed animal practice in Willow Springs, Missouri. Dr. Rouse joined the team at Grant Pet Hospital in October 2013. Dr. Rouse and his wife have two grown children. He lives in Springfield along with their dogs Reggi and Rosie. Dr. Rouse enjoys working with young people and is active in his church and in Scouts. He also likes to hike and kayak in the forests and streams of southern Missouri.
