Alfred Wade

Alfred Wade, Jr., 88, of Philpot, Kentucky, passed away on July 9, 2023, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born November 11, 1934, in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Alfred Earnest Wade and Eva Christine Ralph Wade. Alfred was a terminal manager at Lafarge North America. He is also a Marine Corps Veteran. Alfred loved to bow hunt and fish for spoonbills. He loved spending his time with his grandchildren, and camping, and when he was younger, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Along with his parents, Alfred is preceded in death by nine siblings. Alfred is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kathryn White Wade; children: Ramona Chinn and Michael Wade; grandchildren: Cameron Cox and Tara Cox Cloud; and one great-grandchild.

Dr. Jonathan Eric Carroll

Dr. Jonathan Eric Carroll is a Kentucky Licensed Pastoral Counselor (KLPC), a member of the Kentucky Association of Pastoral Counselors, an Adjunct Professor at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and is a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. He is the Executive Director of Counseling at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, where he offers Grief Counseling and facilitates The Good Grief Group, a monthly group counseling opportunity open to anyone who is living with grief and who desires to grow in and through the experience of it. He is also the founder and lead therapist at The Clinic @ The Montgomery, a counseling center located in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky. Dr. Carroll is a graduate of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (D.Min), Princeton Theological Seminary (Th.M.), Columbia Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and King College (B.A.). His post-doctoral studies took place at the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family in Georgetown, Washington, D.C., the institution responsible for the continuation of the work of Murray Bowen, whose Family Systems Theory has become the lens through which Dr. Carroll practices therapy in his private practice.
