WILDFLOWER PRESCHOOL

Wildflower Preschool is dedicated to the promotion of healthy lifestyles by staying active and eating nutritious meals. Children attending the school will participate in weekly yoga lessons and neighborhood walks to parks. We have a tricycle path and vehicles on our playground to allow for plenty of gross motor movement each day. We also follow the guidelines of 5-2-1-0, or the "Let's Go" campaign. This model promotes 5 or more fruits and vegetables per day, 2 or less hours of screen time (Wildflower has NO screen time!), 1 hour or more of active play, and 0 sugary drinks. Classroom schedules are designed to provide at the minimum 30 minutes of structured time and 30 minutes of unstructured time for physical activity each day, both indoors and outdoors. Our school works closely with the Boulder County Public Health to provide nutritious, fresh and well-balanced morning and afternoon snacks... Wildflower Preschool has worked diligently over many years to build a quality program...
