Dr. Austin offers young and mature women compassionate and skilled gynecologic care. She received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk Virginia and her residency and postdoctoral training in obstetrics and gynecology at Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center where she served as chief resident. She went on to complete a Master's in Public Health with a focus on Public Health Management and Global Health at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University. Dr Austin serves as a community faculty with Eastern Virginia Medical School and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is married with 5 adult children. She enjoys the continuity of care with her patients and loves the challenge of primary care. She provides all gynecologic services, surgery, and preventative care. She is especially interested in education and helping women understand their condition, their health risks, and their options for dealing with problems.

Shonte Drakeford is a positive outgoing Primary Care Provider Nurse Practitioner specializing in Adult-Gerontology where she provides evidence-based care for male and female patients from ages 13 and older. Compassion and Education are central components in managing the care of her patients in the local community. She has a combined total of over 12 years of experience in the medical field as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner where she has practiced in various health settings & around the United States providing preventative care, referrals to a specialist, and treating patients with a variety of illnesses and injuries. She is also a team player. She collaborates well with her partner in Women's health and wellness care.
