Bettie Bell

Bettie offers person-centered services to people living with disabilities and their support networks as well as conduct behavior and assistive technology assessments, develop support plans, facilitate trainings and community groups to build connections that create change. Bettie has been active in personal advocacy and violence prevention for over two decades. In addition to over 10 years of consultative services to people with disabilities, she has served as a Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention Hotline Coordinator, Abuse Prevention Facilitator, and a foster/adoptive parent. Bettie provides relationship focused support from a trauma informed perspective and focuses on crisis de-escalation and violence and abuse prevention. Her unique professional and personal experiences help her to provide supports that respects the dignity and lived experiences of individuals with disabilities throughout their lifespan. Bettie provides trainings that combine instruction and experiential learning to help groups explore and build skills together. She has provided dozens of trainings to community groups, educators, professionals, support teams, and students.
