Clinton Cushion


Derek Matthews

Derek began his career in 1995 with Ford Motor Co., and worked in Ford's Ecostar electric drive group and in Xcellsis leading propulsion system design for Fuel Cell bus applications. He joined BAE Systems in 2007 where he has worked as System Engineering lead on defense and commercial vehicle programs and later as technical regulatory affairs and product roadmap manager. Since 2019, Derek has served as Partnership Manager focused on creating external, strategic partnerships.

Johann Führmann

Beginning in the year 2000, Johann started as software developer for radar and camera based ADAS sensors. Soon after that point an emphasis on HiL systems for ADAS ECUs evolved. Accompanying several TIER1s over years in ADAS/AD projects he now represents the portfolio of the b-plus group as expert for automotive software development and HiL solutions as Business Developer.

Jyri Kylä-Kaila

Job Titles:
  • Managing Director of Ponsse Group Technology Company
Jyri is a managing director of Ponsse Group technology company Epec Oy. He has almost a decade of strong electromobility experience in automotive and commercial vehicle businesses and he has worked with major automotive OEMs and Tier 1s globally. Jyri has launched several electromobility products to manufacturing over the years. He has a master's degree in industrial engineering.

Leandro Zaza

Leandro has a master's degree in Engineering for Microelectronics Integrated System from Politecnico di Bari. He held various positions with leading semiconductor companies in Munich, ranging from IC design to product management, working with worldwide leading technology companies. After his experience in the automotive market, where he defined products for the largest European Tier1 and OEMs, he joined TTControl in 2020 as Technical Sales Manager focusing on solutions for autonomous operations. Since 2021, he has been a member of the Autonomous Operation Cluster governance team, where he drives stakeholders to the success of the initiative and manages the entire ecosystem.

Ram Seira


Reiner Zitzmann

Reiner Zitzmann, born in 1976, started his career with a degree as Engineer for Electrical Engineering from the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen, Germany. Since July 2004 he has been working for CAN in Automation international users' and manufacturers' group as a technical manager. Since 2017 he is General Manager of the CAN in Automation GmbH, which is the commercial arm of the CAN in Automation association. He and his team provide CiA services, such as maintaining and developing of CiA specifications, providing CAN-related consultancy services and CANopen (FD) testing services, or promoting CAN at conferences and trade shows.

Sahas Shah

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager and Senior Scientist at VTT
Sahas Shah is project manager and senior scientist at VTT since 2022. He holds PhD in electrical engineering and has several years of experience from leading engineering industry. His interest includes electric and hybrid powertrains, controls, modelling and simulations.

Sven Salzer

Sven has a Dipl.-Ing. in television engineering from FH Wiesbaden. Prior to his current role, he worked at Panasonic, Langen, Germany, as an engineer in software algorithm development for embedded processors in TV sets; ADIT, Hildesheim, Germany, as an engineer in hardware verification for embedded multimedia processors in car navigation; and Motec, Hadamar, Germany, as an engineer in product development of cameras and monitors for heavy-duty machines, project leader for digital OEM products and head of embedded systems. He has been with Ark Vision Systems in Merenberg, Germany, since 2019 as founder, general manager and head of the R&D department, where he works on product engineering of ruggedized and intelligent network cameras for heavy-duty machines.
