The Division encompasses specific programmes, including the Scottish Patient Safety Programme (SPSP), the Healthcare Associated Infections Programme, Better Together and associated Patient Experience initiatives and works in partnership with all the Divisions across Raigmore Hospital. The Division is also responsible for delivering, maintaining, and enhancing a pro-active and positive Quality and Patient Safety culture which effectively contributes to NHS Highland's clinical governance roles, responsibilities and plans. The Quality and Patient Safety Division, led by the Lead Nurse, is responsible for developing and monitoring the implementation of quality and patient safety strategies, together with supporting the development of operational policies, procedures and guidelines.
