The Locksmith's House is operated by our wonderful volunteers, however this does mean that the Museum is not open for regular general admission. Entry to the Locksmith's House will be through our special ticketed events... Black Country Living Museum is an award-winning open air museum that tells the story of one of the very first industrialised landscapes in Britain... At Black Country Living Museum, we connect yow with stories. We proudly share why our small region made a big impact on the world and bring Black Country folk back to life, from metalworkers and miners to nurses and schoolteachers - and even a pub landlord or two.
