Aaron Ball is senior vice president and co-head of New York Life's Foundational Business. Mr. Ball leads the retail product solutions, service, purchase experience, underwriting and marketing teams. He joined New York Life in February 2015 as the Long-Term Care Solutions business leader and was appointed to New York Life's Executive Management Committee in September 2020. Prior to joining New York Life, Mr. Ball served from 2003 to 2015 as senior vice president with Genworth Financial, where he led the company's long-term care in-force business and new product development efforts and provided legal and regulatory expertise as general counsel for several of the company's insurance businesses. From 2000 to 2003, he served as vice president and chief compliance officer of AmSouth Investment Services. Before joining AmSouth, Mr. Ball was senior vice president and chief legal officer for M&T Brokerage. Mr. Ball earned a BA from Loyola College in Maryland, and a JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is a graduate of the executive leadership program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Joel Steinberg is a senior advisor to Ted Mathas, Chairman and CEO. Mark Madgett is executive vice president & head of Agency in charge of New York Life's career Agency distribution system, which comprises more than 12,000 agents affiliated with 116 General Offices across the country, as well as the business units that provide strategy and support for the company's agents and field managers. He was appointed to New York Life's Executive Management Committee in December 2015. Mr. Madgett joined New York Life as an agent in 1986. Suzanne Schmitt

Suzanne Schmitt is Head of Financial Wellness for New York Life. In this capacity, she's accountable for helping to drive the expansion of financial education and guidance offerings across strategic channels; building and leading a team that's responsible for developing a differentiated model for financial wellness; and integrating human-centered guidance and digital tools to assist individuals in achieving their financial goals. Suzanne brings more than 15 years of experience in consumer insights, product development and positioning, as well as marketing and market enablement in financial services to this role. Prior to joining New York Life, she served as Vice President of Financial Wellness for Prudential Financial where she a led a team that worked with clients and prospects to leverage financial wellness products, services and solutions to improve organizational and individual financial health; drove thought leadership; measured outcomes attributable to adoption and engagement with financial wellness; and led market positioning. Before joining Prudential, Suzanne served as Vice President of Family Engagement at Fidelity Investments. In this capacity, she led the firm's aging investor strategy, inclusive of content development, partnerships and market enablement; developed life event experience and integration of life events with financial wellness. Suzanne holds BA degrees from Douglass College in Communications and Psychology, an MA in Organizational Development and Leadership from Gonzaga University, and Certificates in Gerontology and Elder Abuse Prevention from USC. She's co-taught Aging Entrepreneurship at Brown University and holds a patent for assessing health and wealth.

Todd Taylor

Todd Taylor is the Head of New York Life's Retail Annuities business, an industry leader with over $22 billion in 2022 sales. In this role, he is responsible for leading all aspects of one of the company's largest profit centers, including strategy, product development, marketing, and operations, as well as external sales and service. Todd joined New York Life in 2008 as part of the company's actuarial training program and has had roles of increasing responsibility across the insurance and annuity businesses and corporate areas, including pricing and product development, financial projections and planning, and corporate strategy and internal consulting. Most recently, he led strategy and analytics for Retail Annuities. He has authored a number of articles and whitepapers on retirement topics, including those on the value of income annuities in retirement income strategies, the impact of behavioral economics on retiree spending behavior, and healthcare expenditures in retirement. He also holds a patent for a retirement product allocation framework (the "Efficient Income Frontier"). Todd graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economic Analysis and Math, summa cum laude, from Binghamton University and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He is a member of advisory boards for The American College's Center for Retirement Income, Insured Retirement Institute (IRI), and the Investment and Wealth Institute's Retirement Management Advisor (RMA) Commission.
