MICHELLE SUN DECASTRO

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years experience, providing services in Maryland, Florida and New York and telehealth in a host of other states. I completed my graduate studies in the San Francisco Bay Area, receiving my MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology - Berkeley. While in graduate school I also worked at the San Francisco VA Medical Center with chronic low back pain patients. Internship training brought me to Rochester, NY where I completed my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in University Mental Health at the University of Rochester University Counseling Center (UCC). My training prepared me to work with individuals and groups ranging in age from 16 to 65. Common concerns that led students to seek psychotherapy included: depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship struggles and losses, sexual assault and trauma, life transitions and chronic medical conditions.
