Dr. Van Kooten has practiced at Lighthouse Family Dentistry for seven years. Prior to this practice, she owned one in San Carlos. Dr. Van Kooten enjoys many aspects of dentistry, finding extreme joy in seeing her patients smile transform to their desires. Dr. Van Kooten is known for her gentle touch while providing optimum dental care. While not at work, Dr. Van Kooten enjoys time with her family enjoying our beautiful Monterey Peninsula. Dr. Patricia Van Kooten has been providing top-quality general and cosmetic dentistry services to Northern Californians for over two decades. At her practice, Lighthouse Family Dentistry located in Monterey, California, Dr. Van Kooten treats adults, adolescents, and children in a uniquely warm and welcoming environment. She offers a broad scope of services including: teeth whitening, crowns, bridges, and veneers, dental implants, and of course, routine cleanings. Dr. Van Kooten attended Loyola University New Orleans and received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She has since furthered her education with advanced courses in full mouth reconstruction, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, periodontal dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontic dentistry. For 25 years, Dr. Van Kooten has been a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and 7 years with Monterey County Dental Society.
