Alex L. Moschella

Alex is a lawyer with 50 years of experience who recently joined Mulvena Winston, PC as Of Counsel. He has dedicated his career to serving older adults and families with special needs children to help secure their future as they confront the complex issues of aging and disability. Alex, served as an adjunct faculty member at Suffolk University Law School, teaching elder law for over 20 years and is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation. Alex serves as the Chairperson of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA), Advisory Committee for 14 years that publishes the annual Elder Law Guide (ELG), distributed state wide to all Councils on Aging (COA) in MA and made available to the public. The ELG is published, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (MassNAELA) with over 30 contributing authors and is a comprehensive guide to all topics related to aging. He also serves as the volunteer legal counsel to the Arlington Council on Aging for several years. Alex most recently served as Chair of the Advisory Committee of the Arc of MA that distributed statewide grants to agencies providing services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism and their families. He has also served as a trustee lawyer for many families with special needs children as well as older adults in need of trust and fiduciary services. He is a past president of MassNAELA and served on the Board of Directors of NAELA and is a fellow of both NAELA and the Massachusetts Bar Foundation. He has published articles on a state and national level and has been a presenter for numerous speaking engagements. Alex has also served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Association and the Somerville Elder Services. Prior to entering private practice, Alex served as both acting executive and assistant director of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) and, while attending laws school evenings, served as a probation officer in Middlesex Superior Court. A graduate of Villanova University, Alex received his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School. He received the Suffolk Alumni Public Service Award in 2002, and in 2005 earned the Charles P. Kindregan, Jr. Award for Extraordinary Contributions to the Center for Advanced Legal Studies.

David S. Arndt

David S. Arndt focuses his practice in estate planning, estate and trust administration, special needs planning, elder law, Medicaid applications, guardianship and conservatorships, and taxation. Licensed in both Massachusetts and Ohio, he has assisted individuals and families in meeting their estate planning objectives, assisted clients through complex elder matters, and provided guidance to families through the probate and trust administration process. When not advising clients, he can be found spending time with his family, golfing, reading, and spending time outdoors at the beach or trail running in the woods. Jessica A. Pultorak

Jessica Pultorak has been with Mulvena Winston since the firm's inception. Prior to joining, she frequently collaborated with Michelle Mulvena and Neal Winston. She is acutely focused on providing personalized probate and trust administrative services to help clients achieve their goals. She is highly adept at navigating the complexities of MassHealth (Medicaid) planning, applications and appeals and community Medicaid benefits. She frequently guides families through the multi-step guardianship and conservatorship process to ensure the rights and interests of all parties involved have been protected. Jessica works to build strong relationships by offering compassionate advice to help each client make well-informed decisions and implement holistic trust and estate planning solutions. She devotes considerable time to getting to know clients in depth, an approach that enables her to create sound plans and trusts that anticipate challenges that often get overlooked. Jessica is a graduate of Bay Path University and New England Law/Boston. Outside of the office, Jessica loves spending time with her family and traveling.

Michelle M. Mulvena

Michelle M. Mulvena, Esq. is the principal at Mulvena Winston, PC in Stoneham. She has been practicing law for over 20 years primarily in the areas of estate planning, Medicaid and disability planning, guardianships/conservatorships, and probate and trust administration. Michelle developed a thriving fiduciary services practice where she serves as trustee, conservator, and personal representative. Michelle works with families, seniors and disabled individuals to help them retain their independence and dignity through proper planning. She frequently lectures on the topics of estate planning, estate and trust administration, disability and Medicaid planning. She is a contributor to the Elder Law Guide published annually by the Massachusetts Bar Association. Michelle is a member of several organizations and boards including the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Massachusetts Guardianship Association and SCM Transportation in Somerville. Michelle graduated from New England Law|Boston in 2001.

Neal A. Winston

Neal specializes in elder law, special needs, public benefits and disability law. He has been practicing public benefits law for over 30 years. A nationally recognized expert on elder law, special needs counseling and trusts, public benefit programs and disability law, Mr. Winston wrote the first edition of the Social Security Manual for the Community Worker in 1975. He is a popular lecturer helping to train other attorneys and professionals in the field. Known as a hands-on, client-oriented attorney, he has represented hundreds of claimants before state and federal courts and agencies. He has been recognized as a Boston Magazine Super Lawyer yearly since 2006. In 1975, Neal wrote the first edition of the Social Security Manual for the Community Worker. A nationally recognized expert on elder law, special needs counseling and trusts, and public benefit programs, he is frequently requested to lecture and train other attorneys and professionals that work in this field. An active client-oriented attorney, he has represented hundreds of claimants before state and federal courts and agencies. He has also been named a Super Lawyer in Boston Magazine since 2006. Neal is a past president of the Special Needs Alliance, a national, invitation-only nonprofit organization composed of attorneys who advise and represent individuals and their families to create and administer Special Needs Trusts. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation. He serves on the public policy committee of NAELA and is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives and the American Bar Association Social Security Committee. A member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the American Association of Justice, Neal is also a past president of the Massachusetts Chapter of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Additionally, he is active in legislative issues affecting disabled and elderly citizens on a state and federal level. Neal is a graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University and received his Juris Doctor degree at Suffolk University Law School. He is also a founder and president of the Belmont Land Trust.
