Established in 1899 by 18-year-old Dutch immigrant Abram Van Etten, Galloy & Van Etten is a family owned stone company proud to be woven into Chicago's history for more than 120 years. We played a pivotal part in rebuilding Chicago after the devastating fire using an ageless, durable and fireproof material known as Indiana Limestone. Passed down from generation to generation, Galloy & Van Etten is still owned and operated by the same family that started it over a century ago. Currently, five Van Ettens are actively involved in every aspect of the business, keeping alive the tradition of excellent craftsmanship and remarkable service that Abram created...
