NEMS-TRAINING ACADEMY

Northstar Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Training Academy, established by veteran practitioners of prehospital emergency medicine, offers the instruction necessary to obtain certification and licensure for various levels of Emergency Medical Services personnel. We currently offer courses in Emergency Medical Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. Our training includes classroom lectures and student-driven discussions, online lectures and coursework, computer-based testing, skills training labs, field rotations (ride-alongs) on ambulances in rural and urban regions, and a host of other services that prepare our students for state and national level certifications and licensure.
