As part of our commitment to sustainable development, the OCS Community Solar Initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy in the Okanagan. While our feasibility study revealed challenges in the current regulatory environment, we're actively working on innovative solutions. Through partnerships with local municipal utilities and our NRCan grant proposal for regulatory innovation, we're paving the way for community-owned solar projects that will contribute to both environmental sustainability and community wealth-building... The Community Enterprise utilizes adaptive Self-governance principles, moving beyond traditional decision-making to create a more inclusive, responsive, and democratic practices.
