PROVINCIAL LTV STRATEGY

The Ministry of Health has funded a provincial pilot that will help improve the quality of life for patients who require ventilation and effectively reduce pressure on intensive care units. Many patients, including those who have been diagnosed with other complex medical conditions requiring a ventilator, or those at risk, will now be able to receive the specialized care they need in an environment outside of the ICU and closer to home... Improve the quality of life for people requiring long-term ventilation by allowing these individuals to receive specialized care closer to home.
