Alexis I. Lehmann

Alexis I. Lehmann joined Wolf, Baldwin and Associates, P.C., in 2021, and focuses her practice in the areas of small business representation, commercial litigation and employment law. Previously, she was an associate attorney at a consumer protection firm representing individual consumers' rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, in addition to various other consumer protection laws. Prior to that, Ms. Lehmann worked as a civil litigator for local and state law enforcement officers handling cases under Title VII, The Americans With Disabilities Act, The Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the First Amendment Free Speech and Petition Clause. She has won several jury trials, most notably a $1.97 million-dollar verdict against the Pennsylvania State Police in 2014 for discrimination in employment, and violations of the First Amendment and Equal Protection clause. Ms. Lehmann is also an active member on the Executive Board for the Justice Rising Advocates; a local committee which partners with Community Legal Services of Philadelphia to help low-income Philadelphians with various legal issues by volunteering at legal clinics, continuing legal education seminars, and other events. Ms. Lehmann received her J.D. in 2009 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While attending law school, she received a Book Award for achieving excellence in Employment Discrimination and was an active member in the Women's Law Caucus. In 2007 she clerked for The Honorable Nicholas Tsoucalas in the New York Federal Court of International Trade, assisting in drafting opinions regarding trade adjustment benefits, countervailing duties and classifications of imported goods. Alexis obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University where she was an NCAA scholarship athlete and four time All-American. Ms. Lehmann is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the Pennsylvania Eastern and Middle District Courts, and the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys traveling, hiking, cycling, local dining and wineries.

Bruce L. Baldwin

Bruce L. Baldwin was born in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Souderton Area High School in 1977. Mr. Baldwin attended West Chester University, graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Summa Cum Laude. Following his undergraduate work, Mr. Baldwin studied at Villanova University School of Law, where he was active in the Moot Court Board, and earned his Juris Doctor in 1984. Mr. Baldwin began his practice of law in Collegeville before coming to Pottstown in 1987, when he started practicing law with firm founder Jack F. Wolf. Mr. Baldwin is past president of the Pottstown Optimist Club. He is a past recipient of the PBA's Pro Bono award, and has served on various non-profit boards in the Pottstown area. Mr. Baldwin is also a frequent lecturer on business, employment and civil litigation for the National Business Institute. Mr. Baldwin is licensed to practice law before all Pennsylvania courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Associations. Mr. Baldwin concentrates his practice in business law, employment law and commercial litigation.

Carolyn M. Marchesani

Carolyn Marchesani has over fifteen years of professional experience providing individuals and families with counsel and strategies for estate planning, probate and estate administration. Ms. Marchesani has concentrated her practice in this area with the goal of ensuring that the client has a plan in place to provide for themselves and their family. This work includes helping to organize information to understand current circumstances, determine desired plans going forward and complete effective execution of this plan by helping clients gain an understanding of the related laws in this area and how these laws may impact them. Estate planning involves coordination of advisors in the area of insurance, tax and financial matters. Lifestyle, family dynamics, roles and responsibilities vary and regularly create a need to review your estate plan. Ms. Marchesani attended Villanova University School of Law - Graduate Tax Program and completed the Estate Planning Certificate Program, while working as an Associate Attorney for a Chester County based firm. Ms. Marchesani attended Widener University School of Law, in Wilmington, Delaware, where she earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) while working full-time as a Paralegal in this same law firm. She was admitted to the bar in 1995. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. Charles D. Garner

Charles D. Garner, Jr., graduated from Pottstown High School in 1979. Mr. Garner has been a lifelong resident of the Pottstown area. Mr. Garner graduated Cum Laude from Ursinus College in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts. He received his Juris Doctor from Dickinson School of Law in 1986. He joined Reynier, Crocker, Allebach & Reber as an associate in 1986. He was promoted to partner in 1992 and remained at the firm until 1998. In 1998, he joined Paul Bauer to form Garner & Bauer. Mr. Garner developed his practice as a general practitioner, with an emphasis on Municipal, Real Estate and Zoning Law. He is currently the solicitor for the Boroughs of Pottstown, Pennsburg, and Phoenixville. He is also currently solicitor of both Upper Pottsgrove Township and Lower Pottsgrove Township, and represents the Zoning Hearing Boards of Limerick Township, Royersford Borough and Colebrookdale Township. Mr. Garner has had special Counsel Appointments in Lower Heidelberg Township, the Pottstown Borough Authority, Spring City Borough, Colebrookdale Township, West Norriton Township and Malvern Borough. Mr. Garner joined Wolf, Baldwin & Associates in September, 2012, where he continues his emphasis in Municipal, Real Estate and Zoning Law. He also practices in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration, and General Civil Litigation. Mr. Garner currently resides in New Hanover Township with his wife and two sons.

Daniel E. McCabe

Daniel E. McCabe is Certified as a specialist in the practice of workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Section on Workers' Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Mr. McCabe was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and educated in West Chester until he completed college. He attended West Chester East High School and graduated in 1991. Mr. McCabe attended West Chester University, as a Speech Communications major and a Political Science minor. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in speech communications in 1995. Following his undergraduate work, he attended Villanova University School of Law, where he was active in Moot Court, and earned his Juris Doctor in 1998. Mr. McCabe was admitted to the bar in 1998, and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. Upon completion of law school he was a clerk for the Honorable Judge Lawrence Wood in the Court of Common Pleas in West Chester. He has also practiced corporate law and collection law in a firm in West Chester, in addition to maintaining his own practice. In recent years, Mr. McCabe has concentrated his practice solely on workers' compensation law. His first experience with workers' compensation was representing employers and insurance companies. However, since 2003, he has represented injured workers exclusively. His experience on both sides of workers' compensation law allows him to serve his clients with the valuable knowledge of how the insurance companies operate. He is active in the Workers' Compensation section of the Chester County Bar Association. Mr. McCabe spends his free time as an avid cyclist, even riding the cobblestones of Belgium. He is married with two children. He joined Wolf, Baldwin & Associates, P.C. in 2006 and is proud to be a part of one of the largest workers' compensation departments in the area.

Levi S. Wolf

Levi S. Wolf is Certified as a specialist in the practice of workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Section on Workers' Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Mr. Wolf was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and educated in the Pottstown elementary schools through sixth grade. He graduated from The Hill School in 1989, earning membership in the Cum Laude Honor Society. Mr. Wolf began his undergraduate studies in the University of Pittsburgh College of Engineering, where he was an Engineering Honors Scholar. He then transferred to the University of Pittsburgh College of Arts and Sciences, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and holding minors in Anthropology, the Classics, and the History and Philosophy of Science. Following his undergraduate work, Mr. Wolf studied at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 1996. During the summers between years at law school, Mr. Wolf volunteered at the Berks County District Attorney's Office, becoming a Certified Legal Intern in 1995, and representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at preliminary hearings. Mr. Wolf joined the firm in 1996. He is licensed to practice before all Pennsylvania courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a full member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and an Associate Member of the Berks County Bar Association. Mr. Wolf is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, where he was the former Treasurer of the Solo and Small Firm Practice Section. He has lectured at the PBA Bar's Solo and Small Firm Practice Section Retreat and numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars through the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Mr. Wolf's community involvement includes serving as former Chairperson of the Borough of Pottstown's Historic Architecture Review Board (HARB), and acting as solicitor for the Carousel at Pottstown project. He has served on the TriCounty Performing Arts Center Steering Committee, the Advisory Board to Project HEARTH, and the Board of Governors of Congregation Mercy and Truth. Mr. Wolf and his wife live in the downtown Historic District of Pottstown. He concentrates his practice in Workers' Compensation on behalf of injured workers.

Michelle M. Forsell

Michelle M. Forsell, a resident of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, focuses her practice primarily on estate planning and administration, elder law, real estate, business law, and Veterans benefits. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and its Pennsylvania Chapter. Ms. Forsell is a past president of the Bar Association of Lehigh County, an American Bar Foundation Fellow, a Master of the Villanova Law Inn of Court, and a Montgomery County Arbitrator. She is active in her community as she sits on numerous boards including Frederick Living, a Mennonite Health Services not for profit continuing care retirement community; The Gulack Foundation; the Upper Perkiomen YMCA; and the Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Forsell earned her B.A. from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 1999, her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2003, and her M.A. from Temple University in 2006. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania; the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania; the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals; and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Forsell is accredited by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to assist claimants in the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of claims for VA benefits When she is not practicing law, Ms. Forsell can be found teaching a number of law courses at Cedar Crest College in Allentown.

Mr. Matthew T. Hovey

Mr. Hovey is an alumnus of Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. He majored there in political science and minored in history. While at Moravian, the student body first elected him treasurer, then president, of the student government, and he served as captain of the ice hockey team. His scholastic memberships also included the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society (political science) and Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society (history). Mr. Hovey attended Villanova University School of Law immediately following his graduation from Moravian College, where he earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.). While at Villanova's School of Law, he earned his way onto the prestigious Law Review. The Law Review later published his article which predicted how the United States Supreme Court would resolve a case focused on a law which criminalized identity theft by undocumented immigrants. While at Villanova's School of Law, Mr. Hovey interned both with Federal District Judge James M. Munley of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and also with the Litigation, Civil Rights, and Governmental Department for the legal department for the School District of Philadelphia. Mr. Hovey joined Wolf Baldwin and Associates in 2013 after working for several years for a Berks County based firm. Prior to joining our firm, he focused his practice primarily on family law and general legal matters. His practice now focuses primarily on municipal law and civil litigation. Mr. Hovey provides legal support to our municipal clients located throughout Montgomery County and Chester County. He also enjoys several of his own municipal appointments. His municipal practice allows him to deal with legal matters related to law enforcement, zoning and land development, property maintenance, nuisance, and taxation. Mr. Hovey's legal career thus far granted him the opportunity to litigate matters and practice in both state court and federal court, including in twelve different counties as well as the federal District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he both prosecuted and defended more than seven appeals combined before both Pennsylvania's Superior Court and Commonwealth Court. Mr. Hovey enjoys complex and intellectual subject matters. His practice lets him confront legal issues ranging from Second Amendment rights to egg donor contracts to international child abduction to drafting of municipal ordinances and regulations to employment discrimination to land use appeals. Mr. Hovey enjoys the varied nature of the law. He is an avid reader and enjoys writing. He published numerous legal articles during his career, including timely articles related to constitutional issues associated with both the First Amendment and Second Amendment. Mr. Hovey is currently the President of the Board of Directors for the nonprofit Boyertown Area Multi Service, Inc. Multi Service operates the Center at Spring Street which offers programming for seniors and youth, as well as runs countless programs for those in need within its service area including case management, tax preparation, emergency financial assistance, speech therapy, and assistance with applying for subsidies such as heating assistance. Multi Service provides Meals on Wheels throughout Montgomery County and Berks County. Mr. Hovey also serves on the Board of Director for the Foundation for Pottstown Parks and Recreation, which is a nonprofit which fosters programming within the Pottstown area and raises money to enhance Pottstown's park system. Mr. Hovey is an avid golfer and passionate photographer. He loves sports and is also ready to debate any hot topic in the sports landscape.

Supriya G. Phillips

Supriya G. Philips joined Wolf, Baldwin and Associates, P.C., in 2022, and focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning and estate administration. Ms. Philips received her J.D. in 2019 from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While attending law school, she received the 2018 CALI Award for achieving excellence in Real Estate. She was an active member in the Black Law Students Association and a 1L Class Representative for the Student Bar Association. In 2017 and 2018, she was a Martin Luther King, Jr. Summer Intern for the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. and awarded scholarships for her public interest internships. In 2017, she interned at MidPenn Legal Services which provides free legal services to low-income residents of Dauphin County. In 2018, she interned at the Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project in Philadelphia and assisted in several class action lawsuits. Supriya obtained her Bachelor of Art degree from Temple University where she studied Political Science.
