Brad Fowler

Brad Fowler founded ParkFowler Plus with Jennifer Park after working together as Principals at Brininstool + Lynch. His experience includes work in construction, development, and real estate, all of which shape his approach to our work. Brad's diverse background gives him a unique perspective that allows him to excel in switching focus from big picture considerations to the finest construction detail. Fowler's extensive experience ranges from large master plans and high rises, down to intimate residences and commercial interiors, including several award-winning projects. Beyond his diverse portfolio, Brad is a well-known leader in the residential development sector, having led many of the firm's mixed-use and multifamily projects in various cities and working alongside a wide base of clients. Some notable projects across the country include 1280 Union, 513 South Damen, 369 West Grand, 2404 Navigation, and 180 North Ada, among many others. Brad's guidance throughout all stages of the project, from design to construction, is amplified by his intimate knowledge of regulatory requirements, constructability, and technical detailing. Brad continuously pushes for thoughtful consideration and collaboration from start to finish, which is evident in the quality of the completed building. Fowler has undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture, as well as a minor in psychology, from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Brad is a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of the American Institute of Architects, Chicago Association of Realtors, NCARB, and Urban Land Institute. Brad is a licensed architect in Illinois, Washington D.C., Alabama, Texas, Michigan, and Idaho. He previously served on the Auxiliary Board of the Chicago Architecture Center, where he assisted in fundraising for youth education courses in architecture and design.

Daley Wilson-Rarus

Daley joined ParkFowler Plus with a diverse background at several internationally recognized firms. As an Associate and BIM Committee leader, she brings broad technical expertise and project experience to many of the firm's more complex projects. Daley worked extensively on the mixed-use Coney Island Avenue project and two award-winning projects at the University of Chicago-BARDAVID and the David Rubenstein Forum. She continues to expand her repertoire in other large scale cultural and development projects. Her involvement in projects from conception to completion, matched with her BIM expertise, helps her find efficiencies at every level of production. While earning her Bachelor of Architecture degree with honors from Syracuse University, Daley helped curate an exhibition on Marcel Breuer which has subsequently been documented in the recently published book Marcel Breuer: Building Global Institutions by Jonathan Massey and Barry Bergdoll. Daley is a licensed architect in Illinois. She is a member of Chicago Women in Architecture, American Institute of Architects, and has previously served on the Communications Committee for the Chicago Architecture Center's Auxiliary Board.

David Brininstool

With more than 40 years of experience with projects of various types and scope, David Brininstool has been instrumental in providing a significant foundation for ParkFowler Plus as the firm transitioned from Brininstool + Lynch in 2022. Brininstool, continues to consult with the firm on a variety of projects, including a student housing project for Concordia University Ann Arbor. David's professional career in Chicago began in 1980 at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, where he worked on a number of high-rise projects including Beacon Properties in Boston, Madison Plaza in Chicago, Southland Center in Dallas and Olympia Centre in Chicago. In 1984 he left SOM to become the Senior Project Architect at Pappageorge + Haymes, where he met the late Brad Lynch and together, they founded Brininstool + Lynch, the celebrated practice that-in its 34 years-garnered an impressive portfolio of work, received numerous accolades, and left a lasting impact on the world of architecture. A proponent of technical innovation and a collaborative team-based culture, Brininstool has lent his immense building expertise to many of the firms' projects and was design lead on most of the firm's multi-family high-rise projects, including White Oak, 2404 Navigation, 369 West Grand, and 180 North Ada. As a fixture of the Chicago architecture community, David has been involved with several professional organizations, including membership on the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat and the Chairman of the Design Committee of the American Institute of Architects Chicago. Additionally, Brininstool has continually shaped the future of the field through education while teaching a design studio at the Illinois Institute of Technology for more than twenty years, as well as a studio critic at numerous other schools of architecture, and a jurist for academic and professional design awards nationally. Brininstool received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Architecture from the University of Michigan.

David Mulder

David Mulder is an Associate Principal at ParkFowler Plus. As one of our senior designers, David has led a variety of project types from planning and development through conceptual design to construction documentation. David's strong conceptual understanding permeates through all project types from bespoke single-family homes to substantial planning projects to significant cultural and institutional spaces. Mulder is the firm's Digital Design Coordinator and co-leads the Graphics Committee. He is responsible for directing early-stage 3D design and establishing presentation, rendering and graphic standards. David earned a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal. His previous experience includes working for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill as a Senior Architect. David is a licensed architect in Illinois, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and previously was a member of AIA Chicago's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee where he co-chaired for three years.

Jennifer Park

Jennifer Park founded ParkFowler Plus with Brad Fowler after working together as Principals at Brininstool + Lynch. Previously the Founder and Principal of Jurassic Studio, she has completed acclaimed academic, commercial, residential, and retail projects through practices in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Chicago. Her design explorations query the relevance of patterns, ornamentation and composition in contemporary architecture. Park's work includes the new design for Columbia College Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Photography, and the award-winning David Rubenstein Forum and BARDAVID at the University of Chicago. Previous notable work includes museum design and community outreach for the Obama Presidential Center, a parametrically generated metal façade for the Gateway Plaza parking garage, and an animated ceiling design for a corporate interior at 35 East Wacker. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Architecture and Art History degree from Columbia University and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. She has taught at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Virginia Commonwealth University, and continues as Professor in Practice and Coordinator of Second Year Studio at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Park is recognized as a 2021 recipient of the AIA National Young Architects Award. Previously, she was the winner of the AIA Chicago Foundation's 2019 Dubin Family Young Architect Award and was the recipient of the 2015 Burnham Prize from the Chicago Architectural Club. She was named one of Chicago's Women of Influence by Michigan Avenue magazine and a finalist for the Curbed Young Guns Award that same year. In addition, Park previously served on AIA Chicago's board of directors for five years as the Vice President of Honors and Awards. She is Co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at IIT College of Architecture and is one of the founding members of AIA Chicago's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee where she served as Co-chair for four years. Jennifer is a licensed architect in Illinois, Virginia, Arkansas, and Michigan.

Keith Wiley

Keith Wiley is a Designer for ParkFowler Plus. As a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Keith was awarded the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago Schiff Foundation Fellowship for Architecture from the Art Institute of Chicago for a team project titled, "Rethinking Nature, Reassembling Matter: São Paulo House." A project that investigated how construction technologies can inform sustainable ways of living. Wiley has gained experience at multiple local and international firms. Before joining ParkFowler Plus, Keith was a Designer for Estúdio Gustavo Utrabo in São Paulo, Brazil, where he worked on cultural institutions, civic and community centric projects, and global competitions. Keith builds upon his international experience with local large scale urban projects and multifamily developments with a particular focus on the exploration of material details and composition. Keith uses his digital skill to contribute to the firm's Graphics Committee.

Marcela Pereira

Marcela Pereira is a Designer at ParkFowler Plus. As a graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology, Marcela specialized in Digital Visualization and minored in Political Science giving her a unique perspective of the intersection of culture and aesthetics. With a focus on interior design, Marcela has worked at both large and small scales on projects ranging from high-rise luxury multifamily residences to custom single-family homes. She extends her experience to cultural and commercial projects with her contributions to the Museum of Contemporary Photography for Columbia College Chicago and Foxtrot Markets. At ParkFowler Plus, Marcela leads the Material Committee, conducting research and sharing the newest materials and vendors with the firm. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable spaces, Marcela is able to carefully balance form and function while shaping the future of interior experiences.

Mark Szostak

Mark Szostak is an Associate at ParkFowler Plus. He has been instrumental in the design and construction of 1280 Union, a luxury multifamily residential project in Northeast Washington, D.C. In addition, he has worked on numerous multifamily towers in Chicago including 369 West Grand, 513 South Damen, and 180 North Ada as well as others across the country, expanding his rich experience in healthcare, office interiors, and transportation. He has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Master of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal. During an internship between undergraduate and graduate school, Mark worked with Henning Larsen Architects in Copenhagen on a variety of international projects in locales including Denmark, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Nigeria. Mark helps to lead the firm's BIM Committee and, in addition to his leadership at the office, Mark commits his time outside of the office to Habitat for Humanity as the President of the Associate Board. He is a licensed architect in Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Architects, NCARB, and is a LEED Green Associate.

Mouna Chahin

Mouna Chahin is a Designer at ParkFowler Plus. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where she was a member of the NCAA Tennis Team and awarded the Camras Scholarship. During her time at IIT, Mouna was a Teaching Assistant for structural focused courses and completed a small design build project that acted as a sculptural tree nursery for the Atlantic rainforest while traveling to the site in São Paulo, Brazil. She completed her studies in Berlin researching and shaping her approach to sustainable architecture. With ParkFowler Plus, Mouna expands her past internship experience working on various scales of residential and community centered projects. Mouna also contributes to the firm's Material Committee.

Pablo Diaz

Pablo Diaz is a Lead Architect and Principal at ParkFowler Plus with over two decades of experience designing, supervising and managing private, public, mission critical, educational, commercial, and mixed-use projects nationwide. Currently, he is Project Manager for the Museum of Contemporary Photography for Columbia College Chicago and an extensive multifamily development in Houston. Previously, Pablo acted as a Project Manager for the David Rubenstein Forum at the University of Chicago, Sterling Partners, Blue Office, and Basecamp. Prior to joining ParkFowler Plus, Pablo led several notable projects at Brininstool + Lynch, including the iconic Racine Art Museum. Previously, he was a Project Architect in the Chicago Office of Josef P. Kleihues for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Diaz holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he was a Samuel Horwitz Memorial Scholar. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects where he served on the Building Enclosure Council. Pablo is a licensed architect in Illinois and is both a LEED Accredited Professional and NCARB certified professional.
