Potomac Institute, Inc. (Pi) is founded as a community-based charitable entity with a mission to promote and nurture human activities and interactions in science, art, nature, and education, or SANE, in acronym. It is our purpose to spread sanity one bit at a time. Pi organizes and supports events and activities in areas of scientific research, artistic presentation, nature and conservation project, and educational exchange. Pi also receives, considers, funds or co-funds grant applications and funding proposals from community initiatives designed and implemented along the lines of PI mission and organizational purpose.
