Des Blake

Des is Director of Blake Consultants Limited, a PNG-based General Management Consultancy. Des has an extensive corporate background having worked and consulted in the fields of international oil trading, supply and distribution, marketing, project management, manufacturing, ICT, and the not-for-profit sector for over 30 years. Des also has extensive Senior Management and Director experience. He has held Director (Deloitte), Group General Manager (DataNets) and Senior (AusAID) Adviser roles in PNG and Chief Executive Officer roles in Australia, as well as visiting lectureships, for over a fifteen years, at Victoria University in post-graduate management and organisation studies. Within Papua New Guinea, Des has provided consulting advice to many major public and private sector enterprises. Des wrote, on behalf of IPBC (now Kumul Consolidated Holdings), the Code of Governance for PNG's State Owned Enterprises and an SOE Charter of Good Governance, and conducted related two‑day Director's Leadership Workshops for the Board Members and Senior management of each of the SOEs. Des holds Civil Engineering and Post-Graduate Management qualifications, and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has also participated in specialised training in public sector management conducted by the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He was Deputy Governor of Port Moresby International School, President of Boroko Amateur Swimming Club, and a member of the boards of Transparency International and International Education Agency.

Sandis Tsaka

He is also affiliated with associations such as the Enga Cultural Show and Provincial Aids Council. As a sports enthusiast, Sandis has demonstrated strong leadership in revitalizing PNG's National Sport of Rugby League and the PNGRFL since becoming Chairman in late 2013. He has exhibited unwavering determination in implementing significant governance and management reforms within the sport's administration, resulting in substantial growth in the game. Furthermore, Sandis has undertaken numerous meaningful community initiatives and social engagements that have had a positive impact on both rural and urban communities. He has addressed issues such as women and gender, youth, violence, drug abuse, crime, and ethnic conflicts through his work and leadership in community-based organizations.
