Job Titles:
  • Our Founder and Executive Director
Our founder and Executive Director, Jerry D. Griffith, has been in the golf business for over 40 years. He started The Griffith Collection in the 80's which became the largest mail-order catalog for GOLFERS in the world. In 1989 he hired Hale Irwin to star in his "Good Golf Etiquette Means Good Golf" video which was marketed to private golf courses across the country. In the mid 90's Jerry was the first to design, develop and host custom web sites for hundreds of private golf courses, and created and hosted custom sites for the Philadelphia Section PGA. Mid-Atlantic Section PGA, and the New England Section PGA. He then created Protourgolfers.com and designed, built and hosted personal web sites for many PGA TOUR and LPGA TOUR players like: Hale Irwin, Jim Furyk, Chip Beck, Gary McCord, David Feherty, Betsy King, Michelle Redman, David Toms, and more! Jerry also created First Tee News in the early 90's, which was a monthly wall-mounted golf publication printed in unison with the 41 PGA SECTIONS across America. His site for private golf clubs was Golfmember.com which also was the first site that provided tee times for golfers on private golf courses in America, so this idea is NOT new to Jerry!
