PORTAL DE BELEN FOUNDATION

The Portal de Belen Foundation was founded in 2001 to help the poor and needy in the Dominican Republic. Initially, the foundation was established to raise funds that would provide an endowment for the support of a pre-school and day nursery in Monte Plata. The foundation aims to guarantee the future of projects by not only providing funding, resources, and support to launch projects but also by working with the Dominican Republic's government and private organizations (mainly churches) in the United States to create paths for the projects to self sustain.
