PVAT PPG

Our mission is to use the PPG mechanism and take a comprehensive, diverse approach to the questions at hand. We have four projects, supported by four cores... While we come from different fields (engineering, bioinformatics, physiology, pharmacology, immunology, vascular biology, model development, stem cell, etc), we have worked together over the past four years to develop an application of perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) and NEW functions of this underappreciated tissue. We do novel cardiovascular science, made possible by the 'different brains' that come together through this Program Project Grant (PPG) mechanism.
