Daniele Gonzalez

Job Titles:
  • Human Resources Manager
Daniele joined Northwest Asset Management in early 2017. She is responsible for Human Resources including benefits, payroll, and other various HR matters. Daniele previously lived in southern Spain, where she traveled to numerous European countries. Daniele graduated from Franklin Pierce University with a B.S. in Finance and is also a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®). In her free time, she enjoys traveling and hiking.

Dessy Prasad - COO

Job Titles:
  • Director of Operations
Dessy likes to figure out creative ways to promote the company and the advisory firms we service. She also likes to spend time planning volunteer activities for our firm. Dessy is responsible for creating/updating websites and marketing materials for existing and onboarding advisors. Some materials include websites, brochures, business cards, templates, model portfolios, and stationary. As operations director, her main focus is project management, advisor onboarding experience, and projecting support throughout the firm. While most of her time is spent working closely with the service teams, Dessy also spends time with colleagues across all of our business segments and functions. She also helps strategize about our business plan and other major firm initiatives. She enjoys logistics, planning, and brainstorming creative solutions with teammates. Dessy is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative, holds a Masters in Business Administration, a paralegal certificate in the State of Washington, and is a Professional Certified Marketer.

Douglass McCrae

Job Titles:
  • Compliance Manager / Inside Counsel
Douglass joined the firm in February 2021. He joined the compliance department as compliance manager / inside counsel for the firm. Douglass is currently an active member of the Washington and Massachusetts Bar Associations. Prior to joining the financial industry in 2013 Douglass worked as a trial attorney and also worked overseas in international development. His most recent position was as head of Surveillance and AML Officer for a large regional dually registered BD and RIA. When not at his desk Douglass likes to be outside, rain or shine, enjoying the pacific northwest in every way possible but particularly on a mountain bike or in a kayak.

Greg Headrick - CCO, CEO

Greg is the firm's Managing Partner. He founded the firm in 2008 and has almost 25 years of experience in the finance industry. He oversees all department heads, is in charge of business development, and is the firm's Chief Compliance Officer. Greg's hobbies include skiing, cycling and attending his four kids' sporting events.

Jamaal Cox

Job Titles:
  • Operations Associate
Jamaal Cox joined the firm in May of 2022 as an Operations Associate. He was born and raised in Greenville, SC and attended college at Winthrop University. He graduated with a degree in Chemistry in 2012. He has worked in a variety of areas including construction, college, church ministry, nursing, and the US Army. He is an M.Div. Student at Western Seminary in Portland, OR and is also in the Army Reserves as a chaplain candidate. He likes to play sports, fish and hangout with his family.

Jeff Cygan

  • Relationship Manager / Practice Management
As Relationship Manager & Practice Management, Jeff is focused on developing successful, long-term relationships by understanding the needs and goals of our advisors to help them in building the advisory firm they envisioned. Prior to joining the firm, Jeff worked at Charles Schwab Advisor Services for over 24 years in a variety of different roles in service, operations, and relationship management. Most recently, he worked as a relationship manager supporting Registered Investment Advisors in the northwest region. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors camping, hiking, biking, and boating.

John Cassidy

Job Titles:
  • Director of Technology
John began working in the computing technology business in 1986. John spent the early part of his career in systems and network design & integration helping Seattle-area firms adopt newer, personal computer-based technology as they transitioned from mainframe and minicomputer platforms. In 1990, John took a year off to earn his Master's degree, writing his thesis on "Adaptive Technology for the Visually Impaired". In 1996, John started his own business specializing in helping small businesses adopt new computing technology. In the leadup to the new millennium, many financial firms were in need of preparing their systems for the year 2000 and beyond. Now a veteran of the "Y2K experience", John turned his technology consulting focus towards financial advisory firms. John was introduced to NWAM, LLC at the firm's inception and continued to provide outside technology consulting services until 2015 when he joined NWAM, LLC fulltime in order to further enhance the firm's computing technology platform. John loves spending time with his wife and 3 daughters and counts his hobbies as: hiking, gardening, playing guitar and saving the world in a variety of video games.

Rafael Villagran

Job Titles:
  • Portfolio Manager
With over 30 years of direct experience in investment research, portfolio management, and client advisory, Rafael brings extensive intellectual capital and accomplishment to the firm. In his current role, Rafael serves as Portfolio Manager and director of the firm's Asset Management efforts, which includes working directly with the firm's extensive network of advisors in establishing asset allocation, model portfolios, and trade execution. Rafael has succeeded in various roles over the course of his career. Rafael studied at Seattle Pacific University before completing his bachelor's degree in Finance at Pace University in New York City. Rafael and his wife are the proud parents of two daughters. Rafael is an avid sports fan, and he and his wife love traveling with family.

Robert Green

Job Titles:
  • Staff Accountant
Robert joined Northwest Asset Management in 2015. As Staff Accountant, Robert is responsible for client billing processing and auditing, maintaining general ledgers, firm financial reporting, budget preparation and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general bookkeeping and journal entries as well as general month and quarter end accounting duties. ​Robert holds a BA in Accounting and a BS in Computer Science. Robert is fluent in Spanish. He resides in Kirkland, WA and outside of work he enjoys doing outdoor activities with his two daughters and is a big baseball and soccer fan.

Ryan Lindley

Job Titles:
  • Portfolio Analyst
Ryan joined and serves the Northwest Asset Management team as a portfolio analyst. He supports the portfolio manager in the firm's asset management efforts in areas including asset allocation, portfolio modeling and trade execution. Ryan brings a combination of soft and hard skills cultivated from work experiences in various roles of management at Amazon before he joined the financial services industry as a registered representative at Merrill Lynch. Recently in his continuous improvement efforts, he completed his master's degree in Business Admin at the University of Alabama. Ryan and his fiancé enjoy supporting the Crimson Tide and Florida Gators, reading, and traveling to new places whenever possible.

Shelby Eckhardt

Job Titles:
  • Business Development Officer
Shelby was hired to support the Managing Partner with all business development activities. She is focused on building long-term and successful relationships with our advisors. Shelby has over 23 years of experience in financial services. The last 16 years she has been working directly with Registered Investment Advisors. Prior to joining Northwest Asset Management, Shelby worked in Advisor Services Relationship Management with Charles Schwab. Prior to that, she worked at Merrill Lynch as a Client Associate. ​Shelby is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative. In her free time, she enjoys anything fitness related, traveling, and learning to fly fish.

Simon Bortcosh

Simon graduated from San Jose State University in May 2021 with a BS in Entrepreneurship and a Minor in Economics. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in investment operations at a wealth management firm. Outside of work, Simon is passionate about soccer, music, and traveling.
