As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Stage 2 Security. George is responsible for the company's vision, oversight and direction. In this position George is able to utilize his years of experience to ensure Stage 2 stays the course as a new and thriving small business. George was previously the founder and CEO of Defense Point Security, which he led from a bootstrapped company to one of the largest privately owned solely focused cyber security companies and through a successful acquisition. He has served as Managing Director and Accenture Federal Services Cyber Practice Lead w/ P&L responsibilities growing the practice to over $240M in annual revenue. Prior to DPS he led and/or created Cyber practices for multiple fortune 500 Companies (QinetiQ North America, Northrop Grumman, etc). Additionally, George has served in a variety of cyber security roles throughout his 22+ year career as a Penetration Tester, SOC Analyst/Lead/Manager, Security Engineer and Architect.

Jake Groth is the Chief Technology Officer for Stage 2 Security. Here, he leads design and development of the business' cyber security assets and helps set the technical strategy and partner relationships for S2's portfolio of Cybersecurity capabilities. He is involved with nearly every aspect of cyber security, including: Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Security Analytics, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM), Enterprise Security Architecture, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Security Orchestration and Automated Response (SOAR), and Enterprise Security Event Management. Previously, Groth was the Cyber CTO for Accenture Federal Services as well as the CTO and Partner at Defense Point Security before it was acquired by AFS in 2016. Groth brings extensive experience serving clients in both the public and private sectors in diverse roles including: Federal Security Engineering Manager for the DHS Security Operations Center under Customs and Border Protection, an Information Security Researcher for the National Information Security Training and Education Center, and an owner and operator of a network and security solutions company before it was acquired. Groth received his MBA from an NSA-designated "Center of Excellence" Idaho State program with an emphasis in Information Assurance. His studies were completed on a full academic scholarship from the NSF and the NSA.

Josh Nacol is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Stage 2 Security, and has been working in the information technology industry as a practitioner for over 25 years. He was also co-founder, executive, and a principal security engineer at Defense Point Security from 2 through 250 employees. While also supporting key client-facing roles, Josh was involved in the design, implementation, and operations of security and data analytics platforms, cloud security, intrusion detection, endpoint security, vulnerability scanning, security automation, and security operations centers (SOC). His goal is to help clients instill confidence in the security of their information technology systems.
