Basu serves as the chief economist to Associated Builders and Contractors and as chief economic advisor for the Construction Financial Management Association. He is chairman of the Baltimore County Economic Advisory Committee and an economic advisor to the Baltimore-Washington Corridor Chamber of Commerce. He was recently appointed to the University System of Maryland Foundation Board and is also on the Board of the Archdiocese of Baltimore School System. Basu earned his bachelor's degree in foreign service at Georgetown University, his master's degree in public policy from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, a master's degree in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park; and his Juris Doctor from University of Maryland School of Law. Glen Ives recently served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Sabre Systems, Inc., a leading technology solutions and services company. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy and United States Army War College, he served as a Naval Officer and Navy pilot and deployed throughout the world and across the United States prior to joining Sabre. His last Navy assignment was in Southern Maryland as Commanding Officer of the World's Finest Naval Air Station Patuxent River, the nation's premier Research, Development, Test and Evaluation Center of Excellence for Naval Aviation, representing a 40 billion dollar enterprise of over 22,000 engineering, technology and business professionals. He has served as the President of the Southern Maryland Navy Alliance, Chairman of the St. Mary's County Chamber of Commerce, past Honorary Chairman of the United Way, Christmas in April and Special Olympics. He is a Rotarian, a graduate of Leadership Maryland, and has also served or is serving on the Boards of the College of Southern Maryland Foundation, The Patuxent Partnership, Juvenile Drug Court, Southern Maryland Community Resources (SMCR), Annmarie Garden, the University System of Maryland Southern Maryland, the State of Maryland's Metropolitan Commission Task Force, Workforce Investment Board, State of Maryland's Economic Development and Business Climate Commission, the Governor's Base Closure and Realignment Commission (BRAC) Advisory Group, and chaired the Catholic Schools Task Force and co-chaired the River Concert Series Task Force. Danielle Troyan is Vice President of External Relations for the Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF), the nation's oldest organization of c-suite business and higher education executives who create diverse, high-skill talent through innovative undergraduate pathways. There, she is responsible for the organization's advancement and member engagement strategy. Prior to BHEF, she held the position of Managing Director of Enterra Solutions, a software development firm. As Director of Operations at the United Service Organizations (USO), Troyan managed delivery of core services to America's military and their families at USO centers located throughout the United States and around the world. She also served as Director of External Relations for MENTOR, a national non-profit that supports more than 5,000 youth mentoring organizations through its national network of state and local mentoring partnerships. In addition, she worked as a professional staff member for three executive officers of the American Red Cross. Troyan is an alumnae of the Harvard Business School (PLDA15), received her M.A. (summa cum laude) in Communications from The University of Oklahoma and holds B.A.s (magna cum laude) in History and Political Science from St. Mary's College of Maryland. Bryan is a native of St. Mary's County and earned his bachelor's degree in social science from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1973. After graduation, he worked as an admissions counselor for the College and served as the men's basketball coach. He was district manager for Horace Mann Companies located in Springfield, Illinois and vice president of BC, Inc. based in St. Augustine, Florida. An avid athlete, Bryan participated in varsity basketball, baseball, and lacrosse while at St. Mary's. He was inducted into the College's Hall of Fame in 1990. He and his brothers, Ben and Ken, are also active alumni. Bryan served on the Alumni Council from 1996-2002.
