Since joining ScottMadden, Adithya has worked across functions that include finance, IT, and HR. He has partnered with clients across several industries, including healthcare, retail and consumer products, energy, defense, and staffing. His international background and proficiency in several languages has allowed him to support international clients in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He joined ScottMadden after working at both Corporate Executive Board and Optymyze, Inc. across a variety of functional areas, including HR, finance, sales operations, and customer relationship management. Brad DeMent

Brad DeMent is the leader of the Finance & Accounting shared services practice at ScottMadden. He also specializes in Global Business Services (GBS) design and build with extensive experience in the Latin America region as well as Europe and Asia-Pacific. With more than 25 years of domestic and international consulting experience, Brad brings extensive experience designing, improving, and merging shared services and GBS operations. Although his focus is on shared services strategy and implementation, Brad also has experience in building multifunction shared services operations in Mexico, Central America, and South America. His areas of industry expertise include manufacturing, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, media/entertainment, and defense. Prior to joining ScottMadden, he worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton where he managed defense and intelligence projects for the federal government. Brad earned a B.S. in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a minor in industrial/organizational psychology. He earned an M.B.A. with a focus on finance from George Washington and Marymount University, summa cum laude.

Courtney Jackson

Courtney Jackson has 17 years of consulting experience, focusing the last 10 years in corporate and shared services. Areas of expertise include human resources management, shared services strategy, design and implementation, project and change management, operations improvement and process redesign, shared services delivery/operations, organization design and restructuring, and governance. Courtney's experience spans manufacturing, higher education, aerospace and defense, entertainment, retail, energy, and real estate, primarily within the human resources and finance and accounting disciplines. Prior to joining ScottMadden, Courtney worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, consulting on corporate dispute litigations within the United States, Switzerland, and Australia. Courtney received an M.B.A. at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School and a B.S. in commerce, with a minor in French, from the University of Virginia.

Cristin Lyons

Cristin Lyons is a partner with ScottMadden and leads the firm's energy practice. Since joining the firm in 1999, Cristin has consulted with myriad clients on issues ranging from process and organizational redesign to merger integration to project and program management. Cristin led the firm's grid transformation practice for three years before becoming the energy practice lead. She is a frequent speaker and panelist at conferences across the country. Cristin earned a B.A. in political science and Spanish from Gettysburg College and an M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. She is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

David Adams

David Adams is a partner with ScottMadden and has a diverse career background spanning several industry sectors, including energy and utilities, the federal government, and consumer packaged goods. Over the past 20 years, David has consulted extensively with clients across North America and has program managed rate and regulatory filing processes; led several multi-year technology implementations; guided numerous business planning and strategy engagements; advised clients on business process and information technology (IT) delivery model improvements, and managed the delivery of software and services of an offshore service provider. Prior to joining ScottMadden, David was vice president of global delivery for a leading provider of outsourced technology services to the energy industry. He has also consulted for both Xansa and Navigant Consulting where he specialized in energy industry restructuring and the transition to a competitive marketplace. He started his career with FirstEnergy where he held a number of marketing and sales management roles. David earned a B.B.A. in marketing from Eastern Michigan University and received an M.B.A. from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Dylan D'Ascendis

Dylan D'Ascendis is an experienced consultant and a Certified Rate of Return Analyst (CRRA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). He has served as a consultant for investor-owned and municipal utilities and authorities for 12 years. Dylan has extensive experience in rate-of-return analyses, class cost of service, rate design, and valuation for regulated public utilities. He has testified as an expert witness in the subjects of rate of return, cost of service, rate design, and valuation before 23 regulatory commissions in the United States, one Canadian province, and an American Arbitration Association panel. He also maintains the benchmark index against which the Hennessy Gas Utility Mutual Fund performance is measured. Dylan earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University - Camden.

Ed Baker

Ed Baker is a partner with ScottMadden and co-leads the firm's nuclear and gas practices. He has been a consultant since joining the firm in 2001. He has extensive experience with performance/operations improvement, strategy development and business planning, organization design and staffing, and fleet playbooks/management models. Prior to attending graduate school, Ed was vice president of professional banking with a North Carolina bank. He is a graduate of the Babcock Graduate School of Business at Wake Forest University, where he was a Babcock Scholar and recipient of the Kiplinger Prize for academic achievement and leadership potential and the Babcock Award for managerial potential. He earned a B.S. in financial management at Clemson University.

George Penton

Prior to joining ScottMadden, Henry led the strategy and operations team at Abbott Laboratories focused on strategic development and operational improvements. Additionally, he served in the United States Army as a special operations team leader focused on operational assessments and infrastructure project development and implementation. John Francis

He leads the supply chain practice and has deep experience in P2P, O2C, category management, sourcing strategy, operational procurement, logistics, transportation, inventory management, and materials management. He spent 13 years at McMaster-Carr Supply Company, a multibillion-dollar industrial supply firm which ships thousands of small packages a day throughout North America. He was one of 13 corporate officers at the firm and was responsible for the functional areas of finance, human capital management, materials management, and inventory management, contact center operations, and marketing. John received a B.S. in applied mathematics and economics from Brown University.

John Pang

He specializes in strategic planning, process improvement, and change management with a focus on business planning within electric utilities. Prior to joining ScottMadden, John was a consultant and country manager for AsiaWorks Corporate Division in Hong Kong, where he partnered with organizations to create personal growth and development strategies and implement high-impact change management solutions. John has facilitated strategic planning workshops and management development sessions around the world, in 15 countries for more than 40 different multinational companies and utilities. He has published energy industry thought leadership and academic research in international journals dealing with memory and cognition and human performance. John received a B.S. from the University of Guelph, an M.A. in experimental psychology from York University, and an M.B.A. from Duke University.

Jon Kerner

Jon Kerner leads the information technology practice area at ScottMadden and is one of the founders of ScottMadden's shared services practice. With more than 10 years of management consulting experience and experience as a chief information officer for multibillion-dollar companies, Jon delivers practical solutions and provides both business and technical expertise across a range of corporate responsibilities, including strategic planning, IT services transformation and delivery, cybersecurity, and sourcing optimization. His areas of industry experience include energy utilities, telecommunications, professional services, and consumer products. Jon earned a B.S. in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and received an M.B.A., with a focus on finance, and an M.S. in computer information systems from Georgia State University.

Justin Stevens

Prior to joining ScottMadden, Justin developed expertise in government policy and the legislative process, while working at a public affairs consulting firm, specializing in government relations and strategic communications. Karen Hilton

During her 10-year tenure at Gillette, Kim held a variety of positions, including mechanical engineer, quality engineer, and production manager. Logan Toms serves as Partner, Director of Finance, and Corporate Secretary with ScottMadden. Randy has led numerous engagements throughout his career, serving investor-owned, state-owned, municipal, and cooperative utility operations in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has significant experience in strategic planning, wholesale strategy development, risk management, integrated resource planning, organization development, business process design, information system design and implementation, energy efficiency/demand response program assessment, AMI system implementation, and change management. Randy is also deeply experienced in productivity/quality improvement programs, financial management, activity-based costing, supply chain management, and work management. Prior to joining ScottMadden, Scott led the consulting practice for Connor Partners, Inc., a change implementation and turnaround consulting firm. He has also worked as a consultant with William M. Sean Lawrie

Tim Lyons has more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry. Tim has held senior positions at several gas utilities and energy consulting firms. His experience includes rate and regulatory support, sales and marketing, customer service, and strategy development. Prior to joining ScottMadden, Tim was vice president of sales and marketing for Vermont Gas, where he was responsible for all customer-related functions, including sales and marketing, call center, and field service operations. He has also served as vice president of marketing and regulatory affairs for Providence Gas (now part of National Grid), director of rates at Boston Gas (also part of National Grid), and project director at Quantec, LLC, an energy consulting firm. Tim has testified before public utilities commissions in Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
