WoodForest is a member in good standing of North Carolina's oldest forest conservation organization. As a private, non-profit partnership today, the NCFA is comprised of over 4,000 forestry professionals, landowners, manufacturers and educators whose goal is the long-term productivity and well-being of the state's forestland and the industries surrounding it... We are a core supplier of forest products to sawmills, wood dealers and many pulp and paper mills throughout the US South. We are currently buying tracts 20 acres and greater... We negotiate a purchase to timber rights for a tract, then we mark the property lines, schedule the harvesting, and transport the cut timber to market. WoodForest operates according to best practices for forest products management.
