The business idea of UCP and his partners is to establish fair, fully transparent, and responsible artisanal mining of Tantalum concentrates which will be eventually shipped and sold to the European Market. We are keen to establish a show case for the transparency of supply chains by involving fair trading, certification of Tantalum ore/concentrates and international best practices. ECT is interested in implementing sustainable resource management - through their partners - following clearly the UNFC Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), IFC regulations for ASM and of course the international standards for mineral resources such as JORC or PERC.
