WATER WORKERS UNION LOCAL 99

Water Workers Union Local 99 was formed in 2017. The men and women of Local 99 serve in the Water and Waste Water Industry. Working for New Jersey American Water in the South Division, they provide services from customer service such as meter changes/ turn on/offs/usage complaints/reading meters. Our Production members maintain our wells stations/ surface water treatment plant/chemical pumps / sewer pumping stations/filling and testing chemicals for treatment/ running the system from our control rooms. The T&D groups handle main and service leaks / service line replacements/ hydrant and valve replacements/ sewer lateral / clean out replacements/ sewer main cleaning/ all valve and hydrant inspections/leak detection/and all general maintenance within the water and wastewater system.
