Duncan Taylor

Duncan Taylor was created with the noble intention of selecting and bottling the best spirits in the world. Without compromising on quality, this company has been pursuing its project since its foundation in 1938, collecting whiskey barrels dating back as far as 1864. The founder, Abe Rosenberg, was in fact an American passionate and expert in the Scottish whiskey trade who moved to Glasgow and founded Duncan Taylor & Co. Here he continued the sale but also began to select the best whiskey and single malts productions, very soon becoming a real point of reference in the art of trade and selection. With over 4000 casks collected, Duncan Taylor is still the undisputed leader in the spirit world today. The Peated Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 'Benriach' 2011 10 Years by Duncan Taylor is part of the 'Single Cask' line, i.e. obtained from a single barrel, synonymous with very high quality. It was produced at Benriach Distillery, a renowned Speyside distillery founded in 1898. Distilled in 2011 and aged in a single peated Sherry cask for 10 years, it was released in 2021 as Cask Strenght whiskey at 54.7%, without cold filtration or dyes. Splendid whiskey with classic notes of red fruits and ripe plum tones, while the peaty element brings a satisfying smoke. Only 335 bottles produced. The Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 'Craigellachie' 2011 10 Years by Duncan Taylor is part of the 'Single Cask' line, i.e. obtained from a single barrel, synonymous with very high quality. It was produced at Craigellachie Distillery, a renowned Speyside distillery. Distilled in 2011 and aged in single ex Sherry barrel, it was released in 2021 as a 54.5% Cask Strenght whiskey, without cold filtration or dyes. Very pleasant whiskey, with an aroma of oat flakes and honey, maple muesli with crunchy apple. On the palate it is reminiscent of chocolate chips and hot porridge, baked apples and dates soaked in alcohol and sultanas. On the finish it is delicately peppery with solid malted oak and sweet fruit cake. Only 420 bottles produced. The Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 'Glen Elgin' 2010 11 Years by Duncan Taylor is part of the 'Single Cask' line, i.e. obtained from a single barrel, synonymous with the highest quality. It was produced at Glen Elgin Distillery, a renowned Speyside distillery. Distilled in 2010, matured in single barrels and released in 2021 as Cask Strenght whiskey at 54.8%, without cold filtration or dyes. Excellent whiskey with aromas of sweet orange peel and creamy malt that balances oak spice. On the palate it is spiced with ginger and cinnamon as well as tastier notes of cumin and black pepper. On the finish a touch of honey, cooked fruit balanced by warm notes of cedar. Only 327 bottles produced.

Matsui Single

Matsui Single Malt The Matsui 'The Peated' by Matsui Whisky is a peaty Japanese whiskey aged in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels before being bottled at 48% without the addition of dyes. The water used for the dilution comes from the sources of Mount Daisen. The limited edition package is inspired by the work of the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai and his most famous work, "The Great Wave of Kanagawa", painted between 1830 and 1831 with ukiyo-e woodblock technique. Bouquet of barley malt, earthy peat and aromatic herbs with hints of cocoa and vanilla. Taste: peat smoke envelops the notes of apple, ginger, vanilla and brown sugar. Medium persistence finish, the smoke continues to accompany us followed by notes of grilled pineapple, apple, vanilla and oak.

Porto White

Porto White 10 Years Old by Butler Nephew & Co. is obtained from a blend of white grape varieties (malvasia, viosinho, rabigato) carefully selected and aged in wood for 10 years. It is an intense, sweet, rich and elegant fortified wine, excellent also in summer served cold. Excellent as an aperitif also in Porto Tonic.

White Grappa

White Grappa of Amarone by Albino Armani is obtained with the delicate technique of discontinuous distillation in a bain-marie from the pomace of dried grapes destined for the production of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico. Colorless and crystalline, the Amarone grappa has an intense aroma that recalls the skin of the starting grapes, with light hints of hay, its complexity is excellent. The taste is soft and persistent, elegant and dry, with light notes of ripe fruit. Long and full aftertaste, typical of a grappa distilled from red grape pomace, but delicate at the same time.
