Nothing is a problem for Andy; he has a solution for everything and is happy to share his opinion with you. He gets involved in many parts of the business and is a big pusher of technology to make the job easier.
Andy is a diesel mechanic and has spent many years overseas as a training instructor, dealer development consultant and mining performance consultant. His TRL role started with a focus on branch operations, but he now manages training and fleet solutions. He also runs our apprentice recruitment and retention programme. These are two critical areas as we need to develop the very best people for our business and offer our customers innovative solutions to manage their fleet.

Ben grew up within a small rural town, where his family ran a transport business. He has made the switch from light vehicles to Road Transport Trade, to running a small workshop in Edendale and now leads the branch in Invercargill. A family man who enjoys a good laugh, Ben is building a great team around him who are focused on doing a great job and looking after the best trucks in town!

Brent is a very well-mannered bloke with an intense focus on getting it right first and continuously improving operations with the future in mind. He works closely with customers to understand their business needs and goes the extra mile to offer a suitable TRL solution.
Brent is a diesel mechanic who started in our Gore branch. He spent several years in Western Australian mines that provided greater education before returning and running the original Cromwell branch. He now oversees parts and service operations for our southern branches.

James is everywhere, but he avoids getting there on a plane. Covering all our branches, he is very passionate about compliance and safety, which is precisely what is needed.
James had more than ten years of experience in the motor industry before deciding to retrain in human resources, health and safety. James is responsible for driving a health and safety culture within the business. He also manages HR and is the man to talk to if you are looking for a job with TRL.
John likes to see structure and processes followed, which may have to do with his military background. He is also very passionate about apprentice recruitment, training, and development.
John is a diesel mechanic and completed his trade in the Army. He has spent much of his long TRL career managing the Bromley branch but is now focused on managing the Marlborough region. John is also our resident brake certifier.
Kane can be a very animated bloke who intensely focuses on cost and expense control. No expense gets past his scrutiny without a "please explain".
Kane is based in Gore and has been involved in parts and operations over the years but is now focused on analysing our business.

Kieran loves the Central Otago area and has an extensive background in running workshops in the mining industry. He is passionate about safety and looking after his team and customers alike.
When not at work, Kieran loves winter and can often be found on the ski fields around Wanaka and Queenstown. Having spent a few years in the Australian mines, Kieran is making up for lost time with our New Zealand winters and snow!

Mike is an innovative leader, always looking for opportunities to meet the customers' needs and keep them trucking. He applies a lot of thought to the future, preparing Transport Repairs Ltd for new service offerings and increasing capacity.
Mike is a diesel mechanic and has spent most of his career under a truck. He grew his independent business, Heavy Transport Specialists Limited, in Christchurch before seeing the advantages of combining with Otago and Southland partners to offer a larger company with broader customer coverage. Mike has stepped down from the GM role to focus more time on the northern branch operations, which are developing fast. Mike is on the board of Directors.

Neil is a true Southern Man. He has been in the parts industry for most of his working life, including running the Dunedin branch for Cummins for many years. His area includes most of the lower South Island, so he can often be found travelling to the far corners of the island.
Neil loves his bowls and is in his last year as a "junior" down at the best little bowls club in Dunedin - Brighton. When not at bowls, he can usually be found following his other passions, rugby, racing and beer! A strong family man - Neil has recently become a granddad, but don't let him catch you calling him that!

Paul manages parts for the Canterbury region and has extensive experience in his field over many years. He loves the challenge of finding those parts that nobody else can and has contacts in all sorts of places.
Vincent is a very analytical man who loves digging into the numbers and coaching teams with facts just about as much as he loves Kenworth trucks. This is a reflection of his diverse background in and around this industry.
Vincent first qualified as a mechanical engineer and started his career in the road transport industry. Later he was attracted by the finance industry when he started down the path to further studies, including qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA), then studied specialist topics such as risk management at Insead and Harvard Universities.
Vincent added to his existing governance roles with an appointment as Chairman in February 2021, saying, "Our vision is to be more than your mechanics; we wish to be a trusted partner helping keep your trucks on the road, earning money. We can do this - we WILL do this - by having the top people, the best technology and the most convenient locations. We want to earn your trust every day."
