Her focus is efficiently handling and settling claims across all Long Tail lines, no matter the complexity or jurisdictions. Abigail has experience in claims resolution for open market or binder/line slip business.
Before joining Probitas, Abigail was the International Property & Casualty Claims Manager at QBE European Operations. She has previously worked at Neon Underwriting and TMHCC, where she handled UK & International Casualty Claims, so she has a wealth of experience providing outstanding claims assistance.

Abigail is an International Casualty Underwriter, working closely with Alastair Herbert, Stuart Hollins and James Cowen. Abigail's primary duties include reviewing, analysing and pricing casualty submissions from a wide range of trades in various territories, including Canada, Australia, Latin America and MENA.
After graduating with a BSc Economics degree, she joined the Everest Global Markets underwriting graduate scheme. After spending two years on the rotational graduate scheme Abigail joined the Casualty team permanently.

As Senior Claims Adjuster - Casualty and Financial Lines, Andrew is responsible for the handling of Casualty and Financial Lines claims across all classes of business and jurisdictions in the Probitas Casualty portfolio, including open market and binder/lineslip policies.
Working closely with the Probitas Claims team, Andrew provides an exceptional claims handling service for the syndicate and its clients.
Andrew is Dip CILA qualified, and his background and many years' experience as a liability loss adjuster for Mclarens, investigating and handling Casualty claims throughout Europe, the Americas and the Pacific, provides him with the insight and knowledge required for the efficient and effective handling of Casualty claims of all complexities and values.

As Chief Underwriting Officer - Active Underwriter, Antony is responsible for the overall leadership and management of Probitas' underwriting function; including underwriting strategy and execution, product development and distribution activities.
Since joining Probitas in 2016, Antony has been instrumental in creating the performance culture within the business and establishing the strong portfolio of risks which exists today. As a conduit to those goals Antony led the design and implementation of the business's real-time information flow and first-class analytics framework during his previous role as Chief Pricing Officer.
Antony joined Probitas 1492 after seven years as Senior Pricing Actuary for Munich Re Syndicate and has extensive experience of most London market product lines. Prior to that, he worked at XL Capital and KPMG consulting.
With a Masters degree in theoretical physics from the University of Oxford, Antony is a highly respected and experienced professional within the insurance industry.
As Chief Executive Officer at Probitas 1492, Ash works closely with the experienced leadership team to direct a syndicate that is innovative, diverse and built on integrity.
Leading from the front, Ash champions an open culture, welcoming contributions and ideas from across the business, understanding the value this provides to the syndicate, brokers and policyholders alike. He is always on hand to the entire team, encouraging everyone to develop and grow their careers at Probitas.
Ash has 40 years' experience in the UK retail, International, Lloyd's and London markets, with extensive experience in developing significant business portfolios in Australia, Canada, Central and South America, Europe, Middle East and Asia. He combines his insurance experience with his business acumen to ensure the syndicate remains focused on long term strategies.
Starting his career in 1979 with Eagle Star, Ash joined QBE in 1997 where he held a succession of senior positions, including Chief Underwriting Officer for Property, Casualty and Motor, QBE European Operations and Active Underwriter of Syndicates 386, 1886 and 2000.
In 2013, after 16 years at QBE, Ash left to pursue his long help ambition to start a new Lloyd's syndicate. He combined the prestige and tradition of the Lloyd's brand with innovation, technology and diversity; bringing together a robust team of experts, all of whom are respected in the industry. Under Ash's watchful eye, Probitas 1492 has successfully moved from a Lloyd's start-up to an established and respected syndicate in the insurance market.

Ben is an Assistant Underwriter for the UK & European Property team. He is responsible for assessing and underwriting new and renewal business, supporting the Property underwriters, and developing broker relationships.
Ben is the CFO at Probitas, responsible for the day-to-day financial activities of both the Syndicate and Managing Agency.
Championing the wider use and implementation of automated reporting capabilities to ensure that all reports are delivered timely and in an accurate manner, Ben works closely with all functions of the business. He is responsible for the planning, review and submission of all financial reporting to Lloyd's and other regulatory authorities, working closely with third party stakeholders including, external auditors, legal advisors, HMRC, and shareholders.
Ben has a keen eye for data, aligning with Probitas' ambitions and progressive approach to using advanced analytics.
Before joining Probitas, Ben held a variety of finance roles, including Financial Controller at Canopius, Financial Reporting Manager at Prosight and Liberty Specialty Markets. He has also worked for PKF Littlejohn, providing audit and consultancy services to insurance clients, so has a breadth of knowledge of the industry.
He holds a Mathematics degree from the University of York and is both a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Insurer (ACII)

Chae Andrews is the Reserving Manager at Probitas 1492 and is responsible for running and enhancing the automation of the reserving process and outputs. Working closely with the reserving, underwriters, claims, and finance teams to identify risk feedback trends and set appropriate reserves.

David is Head of Compliance, Risk & Underwriting Management at Probitas 1492 (Europe) in Brussels. He works closely with the leadership team in London to ensure that Probitas 1492 (Europe) and its UK Branch complies at all times with the regulatory requirements.
David has a thorough knowledge of Solvency II and the Belgian and European regulatory framework for the insurance industry.
Before joining Probitas, David worked for eight years at Enstar, holding directorships and assuming independent control functions (Compliance and Risk Management) in two EEA insurance undertakings. He also worked as a lawyer in Belgium, so brings a wealth of experience to the team.
David has a Law degree from Ghent University, and holds a Certificate of Compliance for the Insurance sector from Insert (Assuralia).
As Chief Risk Officer, Donald is responsible for overseeing Probitas' actuarial, risk, and compliance functions. He works closely with Meera Shah, Natalie D'Ambrosio and the rest of the Managing Agency Risk & Compliance team.
As part of Probitas' objective to build a class-leading Actuarial, Risk and Compliance function, Donald brings his expertise to bear in developing and integrating a strong framework for governance and control, aligned with Probitas' existing underwriting and analytics led culture.
Donald is responsible for understanding the developing landscape of threats and opportunities that the business faces and ensuring that Probitas has the right management information at its fingertips to decide on the optimal response.
He is a highly respected and experienced Actuary with a background in risk management, capital modelling, reserving and process efficiency. With a keen focus on integrating the latest technologies into his teams' workflows and processes, Donald continually looks to improve the accuracy, efficiency and scalability of his team's outputs.
Before joining Probitas, Donald was a Director in PwC's actuarial team, where he led the risk analytics consulting business, consulting with clients across a range of market sectors. He also led the technology development initiative within his business unit, so brings a depth of experience to his role at Probitas.
Donald is a University of Oxford graduate, and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries
As Head of Analytics, Durgesh holds leadership and functional responsibility for all aspects of pricing and analytics across Probitas, reporting directly to, and working closely with the Chief Underwriting Officer, Antony Dodson. He is also a member of the underwriting executive committee and finance & investment committee.
Durgesh enjoys working closely with the underwriters and providing actuarial support to aid decision making, be that on individual accounts all the way up to strategic planning. As a founding member of the analytics practice within the syndicate, he continues to provide support for all aspects of pricing and analytics, providing leadership and oversight of the function, whilst ensuring the analytics team provide a clear, concise and accurate message.
Durgesh joined Probitas 1492 not long after the syndicate commenced trading, as Pricing Manager, where he supported the build-out of the analytics and pricing function. Prior to this, he spent eleven years at QBE, where he was Senior Pricing Analyst and was responsible for pricing, rating model development and business planning for the Casualty and Financial Lines business classes.

As Property Underwriting Manager, Australia, Edward works with Max Broodryk to ensure delivery of their underwriting approach.
Day to day, Edward is responsible for underwriting the Australian property portfolio.
Edward began his career with Probitas in 2016, as an Underwriting Assistant in London, after graduating from Newcastle University with 2:1 in Business Management. He was promoted to Assistant Underwriter in 2019 and then to Underwriter, International Property in October 2020.
As an Actuarial Analyst within the Risk & Compliance team at Probitas 1492, Edward works closely with Jonathan Neill in the Reserving team.
He is responsible for reporting and working towards reserving a class independently and managing some of the reserving functions within the Probitas data warehouse.
Edward joined Probitas after graduating from the University of Edinburgh, where he obtained a BSc in Mathematics. He continues to study for his IFoA exams to become a qualified actuary.

Emma joined Probitas in October 2018, having gained over 13 years' experience in the London Market. Whilst at QBE, Emma's most recent position involved the underwriting of D&O, Commercial Crime and other financial lines products, along with responsibility for the K&R portfolio.
Emma has broad territorial experience, with specialism for UK domiciled risks, and has an excellent understanding of the constantly evolving distribution dynamics and market conditions.

Enrique is a Technician Executive within our Mexico office. He works closely with Roberto Gomez and Mauricio Morales to support the Property underwriting role. He is responsible for processing business, premium payments and claims follow-up such as drafting documentation.
Enrique joined Probitas in 2020, and he has worked in the administrative side of the insurance sector for almost his entire professional career.
Enrique has an Economy degree from UAM (Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana).

Evone is the Operations Manager at Probitas, providing support to the Syndiate to provide an outstanding service and deliver on their objectives.
Joining Probitas 1492 in 2017 as an Underwriting Assistant, Evone previously worked for a London based broker as an administrative assistant and claims handler. She has also worked in the tourism and hospitality sector, as an assistant project co-ordinator, which provided her with experience in delivering high standards of customer service.
Evone holds a bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and speaks fluent Spanish and Italian.

Ezeugo is Head of Cyber Strategy & Innovation at Probitas. Working closely with Richard Taylor to provide strategic direction and development of innovative solutions to enhance productivity through research and development, client and vendor services and thought leadership. Ezeugo also underwrites large and complex Cyber & Technology risks across various industries.
He shares Richard Taylor's keen interest in modernising the market, building transparent and efficient risk transfer solutions for clients underpinned by technology and data analytics.
Before joining Probitas, Ezeugo was Senior Cyber Underwriter at Munich Re, responsible for underwriting complex Cyber & Technology Errors & Ommission risks. He has also worked at Mastercard (Vocalink) as Head of Security Risk & Data Analytics, where he led their analysis of cyber security risks, security control effectiveness measurement and multi-step attack simulation.
Ezeugo has an impressive collection of qualifications, including BEng. Electronic Engineering, MSc. Engineering Management, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Femi is the Company Secretary Probitas, working closely with the Managing Director, Chair, CEO and wider executives to provide effective management of the company secretarial function.
Femi advises on the legal requirements and corporate governance best practice for Probitas Managing Agency, and the integration of this with the wider Probitas group.
With strong attention to detail, Femi is responsible for the Board and Committee meeting administration and management, to ensure Probitas maintains a robust corporate governance framework. Working with the Managing Agency team, Femi also ensures key policies and procedures are created, implemented and maintained to best practice.

Frank is the Liability Underwriting Manager for Probitas Pacific. Working together with Alastair Herbert, Frank is responsible for the strategic development and profitable growth of the Liability portfolio in Australia.
Working with a shared desire to build innovative, bespoke products whilst retaining our intrinsic value. Frank is responsible for launching the first offering in the Pacific region, for the residential aged care industry.
Before joining Probitas, Frank was the Long Tail National Underwriting Manager for Pen Underwriting. Previously, he was a co-founder of Age Care Insurance Services Pty Ltd, which was sold in 2007 to Gallaghers.
Frank graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Business and was admitted as a Fellow to the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
As Pricing Actuary, George is responsible for actuarial pricing of long-tail classes; Casualty, Financial Lines and Cyber & Technology. He is tasked with developing and calibrating pricing models and individual account pricing.
George joined Probitas from Munich Re Syndicate, where he worked across a mix of marine and speciality classes. Most notably, George led the pricing of the rapidly growing Cyber book, consisting of both large Open Market risks and Delegated Authority SME accounts. Having started his career at the Government Actuary's Department, where he embarked on his journey into pricing of the Risk Protection Arrangement, a self-insurance multi-class programme for academies supported by the Department for Education, he then entered the GI market at AXA UK Commercial, delivering the first pricing model for the Management Liability Product.
George is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and has a Master of Mathematics degree from The University of Manchester.
As Underwriting Assistant for Financial Lines, George works closely with the Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions and Management Liability teams to provide the support needed to deliver an outstanding underwriting service and meet the teams' objectives.
