Kamran Shaikh is the Founder and Managing Partner of the practice and has overall responsibility for the firm's strategy and delivery of services to clients - ensuring that the highest standards of work are attained in all areas of the firm's operations. Kamran qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2003 and holds a Phd in Business Studies.
As a senior member of the team Kamran has developed long term relationships with clients, operating in diverse areas of business as individuals and companies alike. Kamran works closely with corporate clients in an advisory capacity and ensures that key strategic and tax planning is at the core of the services provided.
In Kamran's words, he sees each company's accounts as a valuable resource which quantifies the strengths and weaknesses of a company. This is a platform which can be used to further develop and expand. The most enjoyable part of his work is the time spent face to face with the client. He is able to match their ideas and needs with an extensive network of resources. Accountancy at Morgan Reach is as much about a window into the future as it is about a record of past achievements.

Kamran also recognises the need for Morgan Reach to support the community that in turn supports it. He personally plays an active role, though not necessarily a public role in a number of community services. The staff at Morgan Reach are also active in helping local charities. Kamran also acts as a Trustee and Board member for various companies, both private and public. Kamran works actively with his professional institute and is one of the Panel Members for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the West Midlands.
Kamran is a keen traveller and his favourite places are the Middle and the Far East, albeit most of his short holidays are spent in the UK and Europe.
Being an ACCA member, Mandeep has gained a vast amount of experience working in industry over the last 10 years. He has worked with several blue chip, FTSE 100 & FTSE 250 companies, and has been a strong figure head on Senior Management Teams. Even through the difficult recession Mandeep has managed to achieve financial success on the contracts that he has managed.
Utilising his strong financial background, Mandeep's most notable achievements have been improving the profitability of 2 of his contracts by over 50%. Mandeep is self-driven and extremely passionate about accountancy. He has a keen eye for analysing details, and also has the ability to assess the broader picture very quickly. Using this and his dynamic approach, he can use his expertise to help your company along the right path to achieve its potential and excel.
Martin Kaney has over 30 years' experience in VAT including 8 years in HM Customs & Excise. He is a member of the VAT Practitioners Group and a council member of the Gerson Lehrman Group, author of two textbooks on VAT as well as being an experienced VAT trainer, training ICAS and CIMA students and accounting and tax professionals. He has also provided training for the Nigerian Government and for businesses in the GCC States in relation to the implementation of VAT in the Gulf in 2018. In his career, he has been involved in all aspects of VAT including the special schemes, land and property, international transactions, small business, the public sector, and partial exemption (as well as fraud investigation and enforcement).

Roger has an unusually broad experience at director level in large and small companies.
He started as an industrial scientist with particular interest in ceramics and platinum group metals. This work produced patents and other intellectual property. He switched to marketing and quality assurance gaining certificates for a number of companies in the energy and medical appliances sector. Much of this work involved documentation and databases. Roger developed software for direct typesetting and introduced this technology to a firm of printers.
Management roles in marketing, quality assurance, production and as CEO followed. Roger used this experience in Interim Management which included work in Saudi Arabia, The Netherlands, USA and Germany. A strong personal interest in complementary medicine was turned into a retail business which Roger started with his wife.
Currently, Roger uses his business experience on behalf of Morgan Reach and its clients. Strategic planning and new technology are areas where his capacity for lateral thinking can make a decisive contribution. Forty years' experience making concepts work and products sell provides a unique resource which clients of Morgan Reach benefit from.
