  • Head of a & R

Alice Levine

Alice Levine is an award winning presenter and one of the most sought after voices in broadcasting today. With a wealth of experience across live television and radio, she has successfully turned her hand to comedy, entertainment and documentaries and is the go-to choice for smart, funny and sophisticated programming. On radio, Alice is best known for her near decade at BBC Radio 1. She joined the station in the much coveted late-night John Peel slot and later moved to weekend breakfast, and finally to Friday - Sunday 1-4pm for which she won the Music Week Best Radio Show Award. Alice has also recently hosted shows for BBC Radio 4 including The Museum of Curiosity and Pick of The Week and fronted a show for Radio 2's The Beatles pop station. Her ability to balance a journalistic tone with warmth and wit has made her the first choice for the official hosting duties of many major cultural events like The Mercury Music Prize, The BRITs and BAFTA Awards as well as Music Week's Women in Music Awards for it's sixth consecutive year. She also fronted the launch series of Channel 4's ‘reality-show-with-a-twist', The Circle. Alice's intelligence and humour has made her highly in demand on renowned comedy shows including Qi (BBC2), Have I Got News For You (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Would I Lie To You (BBC1), Taskmaster (Dave), Room 101 (BBC1) and Travel Man (Channel 4). In the documentary space, Alice presented the critically-acclaimed Sleeping with the Far Right (Channel 4) which saw her living with a former UKIP and BNP member. You can also see her three-part series on modern romance, Levine on Love on BBC3. And in Kevin McCloud's Rough Guide to the Future (Channel 4) Alice travelled to Japan to explore their tech solutions for overcoming the planet's biggest issues. Having seen her skills in action, Louis Theroux has taken Alice under his wing as his first protégé, exec-producing her three documentary films, in a series called Sex Actually with Alice Levine (Channel 4), which saw her travel the UK and explore what sex means for modern Brits. Away from TV and Radio it's possible that Alice has made an even bigger splash. My Dad Wrote a Porno, Britain's biggest comedy podcast, has been described as ‘a cultural phenomenon' (The Sunday Times). Now in its 6th series, it has amassed over 300 million downloads, plus created two sell-out world tours (including Sydney Opera House and Royal Albert Hall), an HBO comedy special, Hollywood fans in Lin-Manuel Miranda, Dame Emma Thompson, Dan Levy, Nicholas Hoult and Michael Sheen and rave reviews from the likes of Variety, The Guardian and Time Magazine. Her influence in the world of podcasting doesn't end there. In 2021 American podcast mega-producers, Wondery, asked her to front their latest title, British Scandal, which went straight in at No.1 in the UK charts. Another runaway hit is Audible's Very Modern Quests, an improvisation format where you can hear Alice holding her own with some of the UK's comedy talents. More recently Alice has fronted BBC 5 Live's Sports Strangest Crimes: The Trillion Dollar Conman. Outside of broadcasting, Alice has partnered with a number of brands on campaigns and has had ambassadorial roles with the likes of Estee Lauder, Samsung and Peroni. She carved out time around her work commitments to co-found and run eponymous supperclub brand Jackson&Levine, with Laura Jackson, for 5 years. The word-of-mouth success led to two homeware ranges for Habitat (the latter of which sold out within three hours), monthly columns for Company, Elle and Marie Claire plus a cookbook.
