Over the past 20 years, Marcos worked in a number of industries and companies, seeing and experiencing first-hand how well-intended corporate systems prevent people from achieving their dream role. Marcos faced many of these challenges on his journey to becoming a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). After his father passed away in mid-2020, Marcos set out on a mission to continue his father's legacy-to help as many people traveling on the same road that he's been on... Marcos always had a drive for achievement. His first job was at 14, working summers cleaning elementary schools with his grandfather buffing floors and removing gum from underneath desks. At 15, he went door-to-door selling newspaper subscriptions for the local paper... By his 18th birthday, Marcos graduated from a Corrections Officer Academy. And although he never pictured himself as a prison guard supervising thousands of inmates, that experience gave him a new outlook on life and opportunity.
