The Northern Coastal Region mission is to administer a workforce system that effectively meets the needs of employers, workers, and job seekers, while leveraging public and private resources to produce a skilled workforce for a competitive regional economy... The Northern Coastal Regional Workforce Development Boards (NCRWDB) serve an area along California's central coast made up of Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito counties, each its own local workforce development area. The geography and demographics of these counties are similar, and the industry sectors are heavily devoted to agriculture and hospitality/tourism.
