DDC - Key Persons

Mark is a seasoned racer, instructor, and coach with over 20 years of experience in high performance driving, including 10 years racing with NASA and BMW CCA. He has driven on over a dozen tracks. In 2012, Mark was the season champion in the E0 class of the Western Endurance Racing Championship. He led the GGC BMW CCA Car Control Clinic program from 2014 to 2020. Mark has pioneered the use of data acquisition in HPDEs. He spoke about data-based coaching at the BMW CCA's national Driving Events Congress in 2018 and at the Genesee Valley Chapter's annual instructor training seminar in 2019. He is the lead of the Advanced Data Coaching program for Golden Gate and San Diego chapters, and Co-Chief Instructor for GGC BMW CCA. Mark is BMW CCA ITS-certified instructor, NorCal NASA instructor, and MSF level 2 certified instructor.

Ren has been a licensed competition driver, devoted track-day enthusiast, and driving coach for over 20 years. He raced wheel-to-wheel in both NASA GTS and BMW CCA Club Racing (Golden Gate and Rocky Mountain Chapters). He has coached in-car with Hooked on Driving (HOD), Porsche Club of America, NASA, Audi Club, SVT Owners Association, and BMW Car Club of America. Ren has also coached internationally with the British Racing Drivers Club. For the last 4 years he has focused exclusively on data-based coaching with HOD, BMW CCA, and private students. Ren is an Motorsport Safety Foundation Level 2 certified instructor.
