Karen Rebecca Suchin

Karen Rebecca Suchin, M.D. was born in Philadelphia and raised in California. She graduated with honors from the University of California Los Angeles, and earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She served as an Intern in Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital before completing a residency in Dermatology and a fellowship in Cutaneous Oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Suchin went on to complete a fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery and Mohs Micrographic Surgery in Philadelphia. She is Board Certified in Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Fellow in the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and a Member of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. In addition to her years of experience in practice, Dr. Suchin devotes time to medical education. She is a Clinical Associate in the Department of Dermatology of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Suchin proudly volunteers at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center as an Attending Physician in dermatologic surgery. Dr. Suchin has distinguished herself as the author of numerous publications in dermatologic research. She has been an invited speaker nationally, and she is the recipient of many professional honors. As an active member in regional professional societies, she continues to educate the residents of Southern New Jersey in local forums. She is honored to be recognized by her peers as a "Top Doc" and one of "America's Top Surgeons."
