The Islamic Centre for Education and Research (ICFER) is a philanthropic non-profit and Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) duly registered with the National Bureau for NGOs. It was founded in 1983 by the late Sheikh Edirisa Twaib Lutaaya and his contemporaries to serve humanity without discrimination on tribal, colour, gender, political or religious differences As a charitable organisation, our programs are designed to support government and international efforts to improve the quality of life of vulnerable people. We also respond to meet the identified and felt needs of the communities... As a matter of fact, ICFER is in partnership with many of these government schools in the effort of looking after the Orphans and vulnerable Children in the country through the OVC program... The main focus areas of our programs are Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Support, Health and Medicare, Water and Sanitation, Income Support, Family Support, Mosque Programs, Education and Skills..
