In 2011, following years of testing and narrowing down of selections, Oklahoma State University's renowned turfgrass breeding program released two new bermudagrass varieties to the market, NorthBridge® and Latitude 36®. The first one to take off in the public sphere was Latitude 36. It was early adopted by some big-name programs on the east coast, like the University of Virginia football and baseball teams, the Durham Bulls minor league baseball program and Duke University's Wallace-Wade Stadium...
