SOUTH SOUND MARITIME HERITAGE

Who are we, and why do we care? We are the Washington State Friends of the USS Olympia (F.O.T.O.). Among our leaders are familiar faces, former Governors Dan Evans and Chris Gregoire, former Secretaries of State Ralph Munro and Sam Reed, former Chief Justice Gerry Alexander and Admiral Tom Hayward, USN (Ret.). We care because of her history and service to our country, and because she is named for our State Capital City... A virtual naval history museum, and an effort to save a city's namesake
