Family and cosmetic dentist Dr. Alex Bartholomew (‘Dr. Alex') joined his father Dr. Gary Bartholomew in practice in Stockbridge, Georgia in 2019. Dr. Alex's education background includes graduating Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University Class of 2013 in Auburn, Alabama, and earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Class of 2019.
While at Auburn University, Dr. Alex was induced in the Auburn Chapter Phi Kappa Phi Honor Fraternity which consists of the top 5% of students at the university. In addition, he was a recipient of the Wendell Taylor Scholarship for academic merit.
At the Dental College of Georgia, Dr. Alex was awarded the Dental College of Georgia Alumni Scholarship, which is presented to a student for academic excellence. Between Auburn and DCG, Dr. Alex was a Dean's List recipient in 10 different semesters.
While Dr. Alex enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he has a special focus on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He maintains an active continuing education calendar through his professional memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA) and Georgia Dental Association (GDA).
Dr. Alex is an avid sports fan, golfer and duck hunter. He loves to spend time with his father duck hunting in Arkansas. He has been married to his lovely wife Lindsey for almost three years; they love spending time with family and their dogs, a chocolate labrador named Shug and a golden retriever named Max.
