Mercenary Publicity was set up in 1998 by Kas Mercer who has 30 years experience in PR. She worked for Mercury Records for 10 years (6 as Head of Press), responsible for the Vertigo, Fontana, Mercury, Def Jam, Def American & Talkin' Loud labels. She was personally responsible for such diverse artists as Elton John, Dire Straits, Kiss, Roni Size, Johnny Cash, Warren G, Foxy Brown, INXS, Tears For Fears, and Metallica amongst others... Mercenary Publicity specialise in National and Online PR within the UK although we also have good connections with regional press, Radio and TV.
