ALISA AMUPOLO - CEO

Ms. Amupolo holds both a Master of Arts degree in International Communications from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, as well as a Bachelor of Media Studies from the University of Namibia, 2008 and is an Alumni of London Business School of Emerging Leaders Programme and Stanford Seed Transformation Programme. Presently, Ms Amupolo is a Doctor of Business candidate with the Namibian Business School. Ms. Amupolo is an all-rounder with over 15 years' experience across an array of industries namely corporate affairs, TMT as well as infrastructure. She held the position of Chief Executive Officer at PowerCom (Pty) before joining NAMDIA. She possesses a solid foundation in overseeing cross functional teams namely, commercial and Marketing, technical and engineering functions, finance and administration inclusive of HR and Procurement, Legal and Governance, and by extension Audit and IT. Ms Amupolo serves on various boards as an Independent Non-Executive Director in Energy Sector, diversified Investment companies, ICT and Telecoms. Passionate about building brands, empowering teams to create, capture, grow and retain value. She is a Mom, book worm, fitness junkie, serial networker, and an incurable romantic.

An experienced Board member and holding numerous leadership positions, Justus Hausiku background and expertise in the Banking, Insurance and Finance industry has proven exceedingly valuable. He is well versed and passionate about various areas including Namibia Taxation, Corporate Governance, Financial Systems and Strategic Management & Planning. Justus holds an Honours Degree in Accounting & CTA from the Rhodes University (RSA) and a Bachelor in Accounting from the University of Namibia. Lelly is currently the head of Market Development, Sales & Branding. Previously she served as the Deputy Director of Research at the Bank of Namibia, where she was in charge of the Macro Models and Financial Stability. She has over 15 years of experience in economic and market research & analysis and macroeconomics forecasting. She holds a Masters and an Honours degree in Economics from the University of the Western Cape. She also completed a Senior Management Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch Business School and holds the Diamond Graduate Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She enjoys keeping fit and believes that a healthy body sustains a healthy mind. She is a firm believer that reflective thinking is needed to take lessons from one's experiences, thus John Maxwell's quote "Experience is not the best teacher; EVALUATED experience is." resonates the most with her approach to life.

Liina joined NAMDIA on 1 June 2019 as an independent non-executive director and serves as the Chairperson of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee of NAMDIA. She has extensive leadership and business management experience in various industries across the economic spectrum. Her expertise includes Human Resource Management, Performance Management, Industrial Relations and ensuring adherence to best practice in Corporate Governance. Liina holds a National Diploma, Bachelor's Degree and a Masters Diploma in Human Resources from tertiary institutions in South Africa as well as an MBA from Maastricht School of Management (Netherlands). She has completed various executive education programs including a Senior Management Development Program at Gordon Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria) and an Executive Development Program from the University of Cape Town Graduate Business School. She currently serves on the board of the Namibia Employers Federation (NEF) and Namibia Employment Equity

Ndapwilapo Selma Shimutwikeni is a natural resources law and policy expert passionate about transforming natural resources into sustainable development. She is well-versed in international trade, investment and regional integration matters. Through her advisory work at RichAfrica Consultancy, she advises leaders on strategy, inclusive policies and sustainability. She believes in the power of convening for social impact and is the founder of Namibia International Oil and Gas Conference. She is a published thought-leader and has participated in several international speaking engagements on mining, energy, oil and gas. Selma holds an LLM degree in International Trade Law from Leeds University (UK); and an LLM in Mineral Law and Policy from the Centre for Petroleum, Mineral Law and Policy at Dundee University (Scotland) and a BSc in Business Management and Computer Information Systems from La Roche University (Pittsburg, USA).
