We design, make and sell products. Our name describes our philosophy. We are aesthetic innovators. We specialise in re-engineering and... re-styling existing everyday tools and objects. And we do this to create new experiences that stimulate, physically, intellectually and emotionally. We are a small team of two. Akira Chatani and Ryo Yamada. We work in London. A love of bikes and cycling sparked off our creative collaboration. But our inspiration can come from any source. And we work to just one simple rule. Is it Nonusual?... Gropes are our unique leather handlebar grips. They offer the bike customisiation enthusiast an individual and eye-catching alternative to the usual handlebar coverings.
