From this Open Source Community Initiative was born. Open Source Community Initiative Inc, "OSCI", was founded in 2022 in Charlotte, NC. We believe in the core principles of self-discipline, commitment, competition, as well as working as team. We aim to Level the Playing Field. We believe that every person can make a small difference... Open Source Community Initiative, is our organization that inspires to close the digital divide and level the playing by teaching children and adults in transition to reach their goals through developing their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (S.T.E.M.)... There are drastic divides and disparities when it comes to economic factors for many American families and, by default, our youth. Disconnected youth are youth ages 16-19 (and the broader age range is 16-24).
