Alejandro has over 31 years of experience in assisting clients in cross-border transactional work, with a special emphasis in Latin America, across multiple industries. His practice has been recognized by several legal publications, including Chambers Latin America in Corporate/M&A region-wide and for Argentina, and by Chambers Global in Corporate/M&A and International Trade, The Legal 500 Latin America, and Latinvex, among others. He has also worked on several cross-border, multijurisdictional investment transactions involving Asia, Europe, Middle East, and more recently Africa.
Alejandro has taught Commercial Law, International Business Transactions and Torts at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. He was also a professor of Business Organizations, Bankruptcy and Economic Analysis of Corporate Law at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and lectured on International Business Transactions at Southwestern University School of Law. He frequently lectures on FDI and cross-border investment matters.
Alejandro's practice involves complex corporate, structuring, mergers and acquisitions, distressed situations, private equity and venture capital transactions (with emphasis on multi-jurisdictional transactional work), corporate restructurings, cross-border bankruptcy and insolvency, corporate finance, antitrust, and international trade and investment. He has advised clients on complex cross-border regulatory matters, including securities-related, CFIUS & national security, foreign exchange and investment controls. He represents public and private multinationals, private equity, hedge and venture capital funds, GPs and investors, non-profit corporations, and global entrepreneurs in a vast array of transactions and matters (including fund formation, capital deployment and exits, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, and secondaries in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia). He has assisted the first Latin American third-party litigation fund in structuring and capital deployment work across several jurisdictions in Latin America.
With experience as both a high-stakes litigator and a federal law clerk, Alexandra has honed her ability to craft strategic solutions for her clients.
Alexandra is an astute and deliberative litigator who leaves no stones unturned in her pursuit of favorable outcomes for her clients. Alexandra began her practice at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, where she took on Fortune 500 companies in high-risk commercial litigation matters, class actions and multi-district litigations.
Prior to joining PAG, Alexandra clerked for a Federal Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of Florida, where she was responsible for drafting orders and report and recommendations on complex legal issues including contract disputes, employment discrimination and fair labor actions, trademark disputes, personal injury actions, social security actions, and class actions.
Alexandra graduated with Honors from the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to law school, Alexandra graduated from New York University and worked at a startup in New York City that was acquired by Apple.
Brett spent two decades honing the craft of litigation at an AmLaw 100 law firm.
Esteban is an international corporate attorney with unique experience advising Latin American start-ups and established entities on every aspect of their lifecycles and corporate needs.
A Chilean who has spent his legal career between his native Chile and the United States, Esteban's practice focuses on international corporate and securities law, including equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, lending, joint ventures, licensing, and foreign investments.
Felipe is an international attorney with a multicultural background and a broad experience in business and corporate law.
Juan Pablo has been involved in crypto and BTC since 2012 as an investor and then as a legal advisor to several leading crypto ventures. He has been recognized over his many years of practice as a leading practitioner in the areas of Corporate/M&A and Venture Capital. Cappello was recently named one of the "Most Influential Hispanics" by Poder magazine in the areas of science and technology. For 2019 US News/Best Lawyers named Juan Pablo "Lawyer of the Year" for his work in the highly complex area of Derivatives and Futures Law in Miami.

Before launching the PAG Law, Juan Pablo was a Principal Shareholder in the Latin American Group of Greenberg Traurig, an international 1,800+ lawyer law firm. Earlier in his career Juan Pablo was a partner in and a director of Patagon.com, which was sold to Banco Santander for a transaction value of over US$750 million.
Juan Pablo is also a well known entrepreneur and deeply involved in supporting venture capital in Latin America. He has co-founded several companies including (i) www.idea.me, the first Latin America crowdfunding site (ii) www.urbita.com, the leading social travel website in Latin America, and (iii) the LAB Miami, a 10,000 sq.ft. center for technology and innovation in the Wynwood Arts District in Miami.
Juan Pablo, a Chilean native, has law firm experience both on Wall Street and in Chile. Earlier in his career, he worked at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton (New York) and Philippi, Yrarrazaval (Santiago) where he focused on international financings, securities offerings and joint ventures.
Julian brings an entrepreneurial spirit to the practice of law-mixing real world experience in private equity and venture capital. Like many lawyers at PAG Law, Julian is bi-cultural and a fluent Spanish speaker, enabling him to be equally comfortable counseling clients in English and Spanish.
Having spent his formative years living in Miami and Cali (Colombia), Julian earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Fordham University in New York City. At Fordham, Julian thrived in positions of leadership, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the prestigious Journal of Corporate and Financial Law, and founding the Artist Representation Society, a student-led group that offers multidisciplinary guidance to artists in the NYC artistic community.
Prior to joining PAG, Julian gained in-house experience at GPI Capital, a New York and London-based private equity fund recognized as a pioneer in the field of transformative non-control structured and growth equity investments in technology, consumer, and industrial companies across the globe. Julian's real-world experience has shaped him into a practical lawyer that advances his clients' objectives of consummating transactions while remaining in compliance with complex legal and regulatory requirements. Kendrick is a Special Advisor of the Firm, primarily advising on rules, regulations, and practices pertaining to blockchain and financial technology.
Kendrick is Chief Executive Office of a noted fintech firm and has advised some of the largest compliance token offerings in the United States since 2017.
Previously, he led legal and regulatory affairs at AngelList and Permal Asset Management, co-founded a crypto trading platform, and served as Fellow of Stanford Law School and the Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University, and practiced law at Goodwin Procter.
Kristy brings a unique perspective to the legal field, blending her comprehensive understanding of finance and her legal expertise. She earned her Juris Doctor (JD) with honors from the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated near the top of the class. Kristy honed her legal skills and developed a passion for advocating on behalf of her clients, providing pro-bono legal services to defrauded investors at University of Miami's Investor Rights Clinic. Victoria's legal career combines experience in "Big Law" with in-house legal experience. She has had the privilege of working at one of the largest firms in the U.S. and one of the most significant start-ups of a generation in Latin America (Patagon.com). VICTORIA JOINED PAG LAW AFTER SIX YEARS AT MASTERCARD. SHE ALSO WORKED AT JP MORGAN AS A VICE-PRESIDENT (LEGAL).
Victoria is an international attorney with experience in venture capital, financing, mergers and acquisitions in Latin America. She has extensive corporate experience as an in-house attorney advising on complex business transactions, regulatory, labor and litigation issues. She has worked at Allende & Brea (Argentina) before earning an LLM from Harvard Law School. Victoria is admitted to practice in New York and Argentina.
Victoria also is the creator and founder of Libro Magico Amarillo, a publishing company that creates personalized Spanish children's books. Her books offer a mix of adventures and educational content that keep children engaged and reading longer, all while playing and having fun.

Patricia leads PAG's litigation practice. Whether Patricia is advising an international client on a corporate dispute, resolving a disagreement among former business partners, advocating for speech rights, or helping clients navigate the ins and outs of media, privacy and cyber law, Patricia's focus is to use the law to make a positive impact. Clients value Patricia's tenacity and they count on her to personally advance their interests both inside and outside the courtroom.
Widely regarded as a tough, yet friendly litigator, Patricia has been ranked as a "Legal Elite" and a "Super Lawyer" in the areas of litigation and media law. Clients appreciate Patricia's calm demeanor and clear thinking under pressure. Patricia handles litigation from inception to trial in state and federal courts, and international arbitrations in English and Spanish.
Patricia is an adjunct professor of various cyber, technology and privacy law courses at NSU Shepard Broad College of Law. She led the Media & Communications Law committee of the Florida Bar for two consecutive terms. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
Patricia clerked for two years for a federal judge, spent a decade honing the craft of litigation at an AmLaw 100 law firm and managed her own law firm before joining PAG.
Pedro has spent over two decades becoming a trusted legal and business advisor to clients, big and small, from all over the world. He works in a number of areas, primarily corporate/M&A, venture capital, private equity, software and technology, media and entertainment, and healthcare.
Turning ideas into successful enterprises can be a tricky business. Venture capital investing and strategic partnerships are only ever successful if they are evaluated and structured correctly. For this reason, there is tremendous value for startups and emerging businesses to have sound legal advice at the earliest stages. This not only helps to protect his clients' interests, but also facilitates scalability, growth, and innovation. The choices a client makes during the early stage of a business can have significant long term consequences.
To this end, Pedro builds sound legal structures and strategic relationships that ensure the growth and success of his clients' business and investment ideas. He has represented a variety of investors, founders, and early stage businesses that are helping to make South Florida a center for entrepreneurship and innovation. He has developed successful strategies at every stage of a company's growth, from inception all the way through to a sale or exit. A number of Pedro's clients own or have invested in a variety of healthcare related businesses. He works closely with them and their healthcare attorneys in order to structure deals in a way that ensures both financial growth and compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. Healthcare transactions have included the merger, acquisition, sale, and consolidation of primary care medical centers and networks, the structuring of joint venture agreements among a variety of providers, and the development of managed care networks in a variety of areas. Currently, Pedro's clients have invested in and manage sleep centers, hospitals, and over 100 primary care physician practices throughout the country.
Pedro regularly negotiates agreements on behalf of actors, TV personalities, writers, artists, production companies, distributors, and not-for profit organizations in matters involving film, television, music, sports, and live entertainment. This work has led him to become an active board member of FilmGate Miami (www.filmgate.miami), a not-for-profit film organization that empowers actors, writers, and independent filmmakers in South Florida.
Pedro is also known as an active member in Miami's leading cultural institutions and regularly provides pro-bono legal services to a number of civic organizations. He has always believed that the best way to make a difference in the world is to be active in the community. He is the President of The Rhythm Foundation (www.rhythmfoundation.com), a Miami Beach-based non-profit that is one of the foremost presenters of international music in the United States. He oversees all of the Foundation's major business transactions and regularly negotiates agreements with artists, venues, vendors, and local government.

Peter is a leading international lawyer with over 30 years of experience, including as a partner at three of the largest international law firms, and as Latin America regional general counsel of a global financial institution. In 2023, he was ranked by Latinvex as among the top 100 lawyers at international law firms practicing in Latin America.
Peter is a Founding Partner of PAG Law and Managing Partner of the New York office. His practice focuses on M&A, joint ventures, venture capital and private equity, debt (including, venture debt) and equity financings, securitizations and capital markets transactions. His practice is primarily cross-border, focusing on transactions between the U.S. and Latin America (particularly, Brazil).
In addition to advising private equity, venture capital, strategic and family office investors on investments in the U.S. and Latin America, Peter has advised leading public and private companies in the region on groundbreaking capital markets transactions, including the first-ever IPO in the United States by a Latin American issuer, the first-ever IPO in the United States by a Brazilian issuer, and the first-ever Rule 144A/Regulation S ADR transactions involving Brazilian issuers.
He also has extensive experience counseling technology startup companies and their founders on growing and scaling their businesses in the U.S., Latin America and globally, including closing venture financing rounds, from seed stage to unicorn rounds and exits. He has counseled a wide range of emerging growth companies, including fintechs, healthtechs and biotechs, agtechs, proptechs, e-commerce, SAAS, digital asset and sustainability tech companies regarding international corporate matters, including international corporate restructurings or "flips", investment into the U.S. and venture capital and growth equity financings. Among recent highlights, Peter advised on a $500 million growth equity financing for a Brazilian e-commerce company which was the second-largest venture capital financing in Latin America in 2021 and a U.S.-based global EV and green-powered solutions company on an estimated $2 billion business combination with a SPAC in 2023 which is expected to be listed on NASDAQ in 2024.

Ramon's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, joint ventures and other corporate and commercial arrangements. He regularly represents clients in both cross-border and domestic transactions and advises emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles in international corporate matters, acquisitions and venture funding.
Ramon has extensive experience counseling Brazilian companies seeking to expand into the U.S., as well as U.S. companies and investors looking to do business in Brazil. In addition, Ramon has advised world-class brands in the structuring of their e-commerce, retail, distribution, and general day-to-day operations in Brazil and is broadly experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
Prior to joining the firm, Ramon worked as an associate at Akerman LLP in Miami. Ramon began his practice in Brazil, where he worked at Demarest Advogados and Trench Rossi Watanabe (in cooperation with Baker McKenzie) in São Paulo.

Ricardo has more than 30 years of experience providing legal advice to international clients in cross border transactions in the areas of mergers & acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance and capital markets. He also has experience representing debtor companies in cross border debt restructurings and litigation experience in arbitration cases before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Prior to joining PAG Law, he worked for 26 years at Marval O'Farrell & Mairal, where he was a partner for nearly 23 years. Prior to joining Marval, Ricardo worked as a foreign associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York City.
Ricardo's experience and track record of success has earned him several accolades from his peers. Tony is a former high school basketball coach and has always enjoyed using basketball to connect with his local community. He has worked with multiple basketball focused non-profits in Miami, and organized a free basketball clinic in his home state of Connecticut, where 55 boys and girls received individualized instruction from college coaches and players.
