Abbie is an MSBA Board Certified Real Property Specialist with experience representing clients in real estate transactions, civil litigation, and administrative proceedings. She works with her clients through all stages of a transaction, including due diligence, title and survey review, entity formation, drafting and negotiations of contracts and purchase agreements, review of contracts, lease negotiations, preparation of easements, subdivision of property, development of common interest communities, closing proceedings and post-closing obligations. Abbie interprets and renders advice on laws and regulations pertaining to real property, including housing law, commercial and residential transactions, title marketability and defects and real property disputes.

Amanda served as senior counsel for an insurance company where she represented the company in private equity fund investments and co-investments as well as private placement financings.
Lawrence Bender heads the Bismarck office. Lawrence has deep roots in his home state of North Dakota and the energy industry, and he has practiced exclusively in the oil and gas industry throughout his career. He is the Vice-Chair of the North Dakota Petroleum Council, and he has served as Assistant Attorney General of the State of North Dakota and as Counsel for the North Dakota Industrial Commission, Oil & Gas Division, and the North Dakota Board of University & School Lands. This experience has given him first-hand knowledge of the regulation of oil and gas companies in the state.
